I recently stayed at this charming Lake house, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful surroundings and cozy atmosphere. The cottage was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated — the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and attentive, always available if I needed anything, but respectful of my privacy. Overall, I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. It’s a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life — I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! I had a fabulous time staying at The Nellie. Surrounded by the entrancing Gatineau River, The Nellie is an ideal place for those looking for a secluded escape. The Gatineau River essentially creates an archipelago, with countless islands to photograph and explore. Lac-Sainte-Marie is accessible by canoe or kayak, though I would recommend bringing a physical map and compass to avoid getting lost. The Nellie is a perfect option for those who want a unique, rustic experience. Keep in mind, there's no electricity or running water, so plan your meals accordingly. Extremely charming nonetheless. If you are less comfortable with a canoe/kayak I would recommend staying at The Dragon. Transportation to either location is available. I didn't meet Bonnie or Jaques, but I did meet Andrew! He was respectful and punctual, very communicative and easy-going. He's a really solid dude. I will plan my next trip to The Nellie in the near future. I already miss it!

Thanks for a great stay. We had everything we needed in the house with wonderful access to a lovely sandy beach. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boards to explore the expansive shoreline. The location is near some walking trails in the woods which our dog really enjoyed. The cottage was adjacent a public beach which was busy on the weekends, however nice and siren on the weekdays to sit and watch the sunrise. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

Chalet très confortable et très bien situé pour visiter la région Il est très facile à trouver Il se trouve à 5 mn en voiture du centre de Mont-Tremblant Il y a un grand terrain à l’extérieur en bordure de rivière Je conseille très fortement ce chalet pour un séjour dans les Laurentides

It was a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Having a hot tub and fire pit by the water was great.

Luc has a great place. Huge property with great views. Cottage was bigger than expected with plenty of room for 6 of us but could easily accommodate more. There was lots of sand on the waterfront (June) making it easy to walk out to the water. Would stay there again. Thanks Luc.

Martin’s place was excellent. It was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and spacious. We were a big group and we each had our own little area which was fantastic. The hot tub was great and the lake was beautiful. Martin was very responsive before and during our entire stay, I would go back in a heartbeat.

We spent three nights at this place over the long weekend, and it was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and was nice and clean. The host was very responsive and has maintained the house exceptionally well. I will definitely plan to stay here again in the future. The location is also excellent.

Clean modern style house, overlooking the water with a beautiful view. Definitely a summer place to rent to use the backyard with its swimming pool and bbq to spend time with friends

We had a wonderful stay for our family of 4 at Mark's place for our ski vacation. The location is great with being far enough from the Village to be quiet, yet still ski-in ski-out. The place is exactly as it look in the photos, and was very clean upon our arrival. We really appreciated the sun-filled afternoons in the space through the big windows in the living room. We will certainly look to return!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet! L'emplacement est super, sentier de raquette sur place, espace pour glisser pas très loin! Georges répondait rapidement et lorsque nous avons eu un problème avec la télévision il est venu rapidement régler le tout. Il y avait tout le nécessaire en cuisine, et tout était propre !

Un 5 étoiles, j'ai adoré! J'ai passé un excellent séjour chez Martin et Mélanie. La maison correspondait à la description: propre, bien équipée, calme et très bien située. L'endroit est chaleureux et confortable, et Mélanie a été disponible et réactive tout au long du séjour. Je recommande vivement l'endroit et j'y reviendrai à nouuveau bientôt. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience.

Our stay was amazing! The location was very peaceful right on the water. The cottage was beautiful and had plenty of beds for all guests. We lucked out with the weather and got to go on the water with the kayaks. I would definitely recommend this stay! Catherine was very nice to communicate with and flexible with checking in and out which felt extra special.

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. it was an unusually cold weekend so we couldn't go in the lake, but we made great use of the hot tub and fire place! Would definitely return!

This is a secluded spot away from the world, and the hustle and bustle of Montreal. The setting on the lake is idyllic and the neighbourhood felt very quiet and safe. The loft was comfortable and we looked forward to returning to the peace and quiet after a day in the city. Mat and Cher are in the other part of the house and are lovely and welcoming. I would say you definitely need a car, there are no walkable shops or cafes, and the train station is an hour’s walk (and very limited service). There are also interesting places to explore and some gorgeous properties driving along the coast towards Hudson.

Chalet agréable, au bord d'un très joli lac. Parfait pour passer des vacances à l'écart, pour nous c'était un peu loin quand nous voulions faire des activité à l'extérieur.

We had a wonderful stay! We had gloriously warm, sunny weather every day, with not a drop of rain. It was just the two of us so we opted to stay in the beautiful, cozy boathouse. It had everything we needed. The summer kitchen is basic but very functional and served our needs. The boathouse is very private and the surroundings were quiet. Just be ready for the stairs down from the main house/parking area. They’re steep but well lit, with lots of handrails. There’s a very cool screened building halfway down too. The swimming is fantastic - it’s deep off the dock and the water was really clear. Every day we swam, lounged on the dock, had coffee on the balcony, took afternoon naps, BBQ’d, and enjoyed drinks by the campfire. A truly restful vacation. James was a great and very responsive host. We highly recommend staying here!
