Vacation rentals with a patio in Panormos in Rethymno

This was one of the nicest AirBnB apartments I have rented. What was responsive to questions prior to the trip, arranging taxi service from the airport. Even though our flight was two hours late and we didn't arrive until 10 pm she was there to greet us and show us the apartment. Her restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Finally, the location on the outskirts of Old Town Rethymno could not have been better. I enthusiastically recommend this place!

The place is really nice and located right next to the old town which starts as soon as you cross the main road. We used Chania as our base to explore different parts of Crete but at the end of each day when we came back, we were able to enjoy some time in the old town which gets really lively in the evenings. Later at night, we would hang out at our Airbnb and enjoy the surrounding views which were great as it is located on the top floors.

The place is beautifully located in the old town. The host was always friendly and responded quickly. The room matched my expectations perfectly. Absolutely recommendable. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back anytime!

A very nice apartment with everything you need. Right on the beach. View from the balcony is simply fantastic, we enjoyed having breakfast there every morning. The car could be parked easily on the street. Would book the apartment again at any time without ifs and buts.

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

This place was an easy walk from the ferry port and bus station is across the street. My friend flew in and it was the perfect spot to meet up. In the future I wouldn't stay in Heraklion for 3 days, it's dirty and loud but that has nothing to do with the apartment which is modern and clean.

The house is truly something special. The interior and design of the house is super tasteful and combines traditional Crete with modern elements. Everything in the house was spotless and brand-new. The view from the terrace was breathtaking and the courtyard was very cosy. We can only recommend this gem of house at Crete. The location is a little remote but perfect to relax and enjoy Crete off the beaten paths. We hope we will come back. Also the village where the house is located is so picturesque. Amazing local tavern with great authentic food are in walking distance.

A big thank you to Konstantinos for our stay in Crete. The accommodation is simply great, with a pool with stunning views of the mountains, a real asset for unforgettable moments of relaxation. The village where the house is located is also very welcoming, we highly recommend the tavern at the entrance to the village for its delicious specialties. We were also delighted by the attention of Konstantinos, who spoiled us with a fridge filled with fresh fruit, delicious homemade jam pots and, of course, Raki. All of this went a long way in making our stay idyllic. Thanks again for everything. We will keep a great memory of this experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this remote Airbnb. The location was peaceful and quiet, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property was impeccably clean, and the charming decor added to the overall cozy atmosphere. What truly made this stay special was the host. Theo’s apartment is absolutely beautiful place to stay right in the heart of the old city - we had an amazing stay and thoroughly recommend. Theo was a brilliant host, the personal welcome and flexible check in and check out made us feel right at home even after a long journey. The apartment is beautifully equipped and finished, with comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen and lovely bedrooms with lots of storage. The roof terrace is stunning, catching the sun all day with lots of comfortable furniture. The location is perfect for food and shopping in the heart of the old city, with stunning sea swimming locations a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay, Theo was awesome and the overall cost was good value for money.

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.

Our stay at Antonios' went very well. The accommodation is very clean, well-equipped and matches the photos well. Despite a self check-in, Antonios was very attentive, he is a quality host. It takes 30 minutes on foot to reach the historic center, but buses pass right next to the apartment. There is also a small supermarket next door, convenient for shopping. In conclusion, we recommend this accommodation in all sincerity.

We loved our time here. Recently renovated with care, the house strikes a balance between modern comfort and historic charm. It’s spacious, thoughtfully designed, and finished to a high standard. Located in the quaint village of Gerani, about a 10 minute drive from Rethymno, we genuinely appreciated being outside the city and immersed in the village atmosphere. Gerani has everything you need — a supermarket, great bakeries, and a few solid restaurants — our favourite being Maxis. The village also has easy access to the highway, which made it a perfect base for day trips to beaches and nearby towns, all while skipping the congestion of Rethymno. Damnoni and Kalypso beaches on the southern coast were a highlight. We found everyone we communicated with very nice and easy to deal with. Worth the stay!

Wow what a place! Stunning location and beautiful villa. Manto was the perfect host going above and beyond expectations, from the steady supply of wine to a home cooked lamb dinner in the wood stove one night; honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. A lovely experience all round and can’t wait to return.

Konstantinos' apartment is excellent, very nice and well equipped with everything you need, it' simply perfect! Konstantinos and Stelina are also very friendly hosts . We had a very pleasant stay in their apartment and can highly recommend it to anybody. Our stay was wonderful.

Loved the huge deck. Across street from beautiful beach where you could rent chairs and an umbrella and order food and drink. Walk to dozens of all kinds of different restaurants right on the “the strip” and in the old town.

Despina was a very helpful and communicative host who responded to all questions very quickly. The apartment is situated in the hills with a view of the sea. Rethymno is an easy 10 minute car journey away. It was very nice to sit outside in the evening, on the patio next to the swimming pool, and watch the sunset and the sea. The private swimming pool is small but fine for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. The kids liked it. The apartment is a good size and includes all the equipment you would find in your house (washing machine, oven, microwave, clothes iron...). This makes it very practical. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay and a convenient base from which to explore the area around Rethymno.

Very nice accommodation with its large balcony. It's nice to be greeted and to have breakfast available. Very good location to visit most of the must-see places. Recommended!

Anna was a super helpful host. We worked from her place for a week. The apartment was perfect for what we needed. It’s only a short walk into town - which is very charming. The beach across the road has crystal clear water - even if there is some debris on the sand. The road is a bit noisy - but the doors keep out the noise. Anna’s place is spacious and very well appointed with everything you could need. Thanks to Anna for the late check out as well!

Excellent location, very clean and large apartment Comfortable beds, good quality air conditioning that is adjustable in each rooms Provided a travel cot and high chair for our baby which was very helpful Few steps up into the apartment, but then there is a lift to get luggage up Beautiful view, unfortunately the balcony was out of action for our stay as they were replacing the railing with a glass one - this did make it a challenge to dry clothes, but hopefully wont be an issue for others. Kitchen is pretty sparsely equipped, though we didn't need to do much cooking. Would have been good to have some cupboard essentials provided that you don't want to have to buy like condiments, coffee, oil, salt and pepper etc.

I loved my stay, Georgia and her husband are the nicest of hosts and I felt like at home. The location is the best in Heraklion. 10 minutes walk to city center, less to nearby grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby, several quite posh. I could see the sea from the roof top and the hot tub was excellent. 10/10 experience.
