The recently converted Nissen Barn is located on a farm in its own private meadow. The barn is surrounded by the beautiful Essex countryside - rolling hills, ancient trees, wildflowers and grasses, hedgerows, horses and sheep. The conversion was completed in March 2021 and sleeps 4 adults in 2 big bedrooms. There is also a loft bedroom accessed by a hidden door with a king size mattress suitable for older children or couple. Perfect for families, but note there is no enclosed garden.

Fantastic stay at Ema-Louise’s Beautiful home. We felt instantly relaxed the moment we arrived. We celebrated my mum’s 60th Birthday and we had such a lovely time. The weather was good to us so we also got to spend time in the pool. The host was so lovely and made us all feel most welcome. The highlight of our stay was Rosie the pointer & Rocky the Chihuahua and all the horses. Was like a home away from home and we would love to come back! Thank you again for a wonderful stay ❤️

We had a good couple of nights in the annexe. The amenities were just as described and the kitchen was really well equipped, including with lots of free breakfast bits that were much appreciated.

Great stay in the annex of Sarah’s family home. Sarah was very communicative. The accommodation was exactly what we were after as we were visiting for a local wedding. Three / four people could easily sleep here - the sofa bed is what you’d expect from a sofa bed, it’s not the most comfortable sleep in the world, but the place was very clean and tidy, perfect for our reason for booking. Thank you Sarah! x

I had the pleasure of staying at James barn and got greeted by Patrick - James father, they’re lovely people! The place we stayed was next to their home but separated from the family, no noise leaks so you get away with calling it a separate property. The cooker / Oven had no gas and the lighters were out of fuel so had to use our own.However, we loved cooking in the kitchen with the lovely view / all the natural light did us good:) Had such beautiful surroundings was truly quiet. Was a very comfortable stay. James left a book with all local places to eat / all info we needed for our stay. Thanks for the quiet and pleasant stay.
