Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

During the warmer months it is great out, under the sun or the soothing shadow of one of our 70 species of trees, whereas in the colder months you’ll enjoy being inside looking at the alluring landscape that keeps changing throughout the year.

The holiday bungalow (approx. 70 m²) is located on an estate with a renovated, antique mansion house near Aveiro (25 km), Porto (50 km) and Coimbra (65 km). For the guests of this bungalow, there are three terraces: a small terrace bordered by hedges, another large terrace with barbecue and seating and a roof terrace from which, depending on the weather, you can see the sea in the distance. The 5000 m² lower garden has footpaths, countless trees, shrubs and a fish pond.
