Paradise between the olive and orange trees We had an unforgettable time at The Maisonette of The Stone House. It is beautifully nestled among blooming citrus and olive trees – the smell in April was magical. The apartment has been renovated with care and tastefully decorated with decent materials. Anything you need is present, and more than enough. The large terrace offered sun, mountain views and in the evening an impressive starry sky. The location is ideal: quiet, authentic and yet only 15 minutes from Paleochora and beautiful beaches. Emmanouil and his parents are warm, attentive hosts. For our adult children we rented The Suite. Both apartments are equally beautiful, with plenty of privacy. A place full of comfort, tranquility and hospitality. We will definitely come back!

This place was just as described and Katrina was the most friendly and generous person bringing many lovely homemade things for us. I would certainly return and recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of real Crete.

We had a wonderful and interesting vacation! The house fully corresponds to the photo and description, and even better. The location is great - easy to get to by car, good roads and at the same time very quiet and secluded. We managed to visit Ravdousa beach on the west coast, walked from Sougia to Lisos, and then went down the Samaria Gorge. A little tired, but worth it! The highlight of our stay here was a cat family, a mother cat and three kittens. They were very hungry, so we went looking for food and tried to feed them. Also, the neighbor's dog comes at night, she stole bowls from the cats)) It was cool in the evenings, and the barbecue helped us)) because of this, we used almost all the firewood and coal, but it was unforgettable - evenings with stars, fried meat and a fire on the barbecue !))) Many thanks to Petros for his hospitality, wonderful welcome gifts (fruit, olive oil and home-made wine) and unforgettable memories! Would love to come back again!
