Traditional Finnish cottage with a lake-side sauna. For foreigners it is quite an interesting experience. Remember to bring drinking water and learn how to make a fire for the sauna, and then you'll enjoy it. The place requires a bit driving on the gravel roads, but it is worth it. The host was very helpful in providing the tips and showed us around.

Every things was really nice. Elina was responsive and flexible with check-in and number of guests. The location was amazing. The cabin was fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Also, the hot tub and sauna were amazing.

A clean and lovely sauna cottage. The host offered to heat up the sauna, so we got to the sauna and the hot tubs right away. The host's apartment next to the sauna cottage didn't detract from the visit, we were left alone throughout the visit. Lovely place to relax, testimonials! 😊

Beautiful house directly on the lake. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. However, very remote. For shopping about 30 min. Very few activities possible. Very long drives. Pool costs 50€ per use and takes several hours to heat up via a wood burning stove. Sauna is great with great views right on the lake. Communication with Irma very pleasant and straightforward.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! We had the sauna and the bathtub in operation every day and we explored the area a little. The cottage is really the perfect place for a vacation! Communication with Henna was excellent, she was very helpful and provided us with information about public transport in the area. We enjoyed the remote location very much, but it is not possible to get to the accommodation by bus outside the weekend. On the day of our departure, we therefore walked two hours to the nearest bus stop, which was really doable! The nearest shopping is also 1.5 hours on foot, which should be taken into account when booking the accommodation if someone like us is without a car. However, it was exactly what we wanted and we are very satisfied! We would come back anytime! Thank you so much for the wonderful time.

Really lovely cottage milieu and lots to do. Clean, tidy, and well thought out. Everything you need has been thought out. The bed was done, which felt like a luxury when I didn't arrive until the evening. The adjacent highway is a pretty good part of the yard, but it didn't hurt much. The cottage can easily sleep four, but it can be cramped for more than two people in the rain. In good weather, the yard is so comfortable that there's no problem.

Juha was a fantastic host — warm, communicative, and thoughtful. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with a beautiful terrace and even a new TV. We especially appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and we felt very welcome.

The room was full when we were 7 + dogs, but even for us this was a working solution. We found a bed for everyone and we enjoyed the sauna and pond. It was nice!

Bright and cosy cottage with a lovely view of the lake. The cottage was well stocked and looked much newer than the photos actually. The wood fire sauna was great and the lake’s water was clear and fresh. The yard got some good sun in the day and there were deck chairs to make the most of the warm weather. Would definitely come back again.

The accommodation was wonderful! Cozy, comfortable and rustic. The sauna provided good steam and the bedroom was great for sleeping. The surroundings were peaceful and welcoming. Viivi responded to messages quickly and the reception was warm and pleasant. Definitely a place and host worth recommending ☺️

We had a lovely 3 day stay here and just didn’t want to leave,it was so calm and peaceful, gave us time to relax and recharge and enjoy each others company after a busy few days around Helsinki. The days just flew by with kayaking, rowing, sauna, dips in the lake and BBQ’s etc, we loved the rustic charm of the cabin and facilities and never got board of the amazing Lakeland view.

It was just what it was supposed to be, really beautiful, peaceful, and in the middle of nature. The perfect home for a short relaxation! We went fishing on two days, and the fish would have gone up nicely, a couple to bring along (small hawks, perch, one measuring cake). The place was super tidy and everything promised was easy to find. A big recommendation for people who love peace and nature!

The cottage is beautifully quiet with private access to a small lake. The garden invites you to relax with its many different seating areas and loungers, the jetty is ideal for morning yoga. It is important to know that there is no real shower. But you can wash wonderfully with water heated by the stove in the sauna. The really well-equipped kitchen is great. Pans and knives are in great condition. There are also many spices and various kitchen appliances. Jaana was very friendly and helpful in written contact. We'd love to come back to this idyll!

Cozy mökki located in peaceful surroundings. Just what we had looked for and just what we expected. We had really relaxed days incl. avanto ice dipping and sauna. Recommendable place + responsive host. Everything was as advertised. Thank you! Essi ja Max

Nice house in the forest. blueberries, owls just outside the door. large set of good quality glasses, cuttlery, kitchenware. 4 min to drive to beach at Messila camping, 6 min to Messila Golf, 7 min to good quality k-suoermarket. sauna inside the house. highly reccomended for those who like holidays in nature.

Peaceful family vacation for 4 nights in the best Lake Finland. Great place, both for its location and for the cottage! The cottage was clean, everything was thoughtfully set up, and it was functional. Communicating with hosts is hassle-free. The perfect destination for a Finnish cottage holiday, with modern amenities.

Very nice cottage in nature. beautiful area to relax in nature. A great location for swimming and fishing. You have to plan to eat at the cottage during the stay, grocery store 15-20 minutes away but no restaurants. Recommended for nature lovers

This was a lovely place in a beautiful location. Reijo was a great host, accommodating and very friendly, would definitely book one of his places again.

Great setup, it's a really beautiful site, a lot of games to play and really good BBQ station. Sauna was also amazing! Only minor nitpick is that the lake is across the road and the property isn't lakeside, but it's close enough. Also they have some really nice kayaks and SUP to borrow. Would recommend 😀
