Private suite vacation rentals in Oxnard

We were really pleased by the location, the apartment, and the host YiFan. The apartment was clean and had anything and everything a guest would need. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Large comfortable bed. It was a particularly hot week when we were there and the A/Cs worked great. The windows also often cross ventilation. As noted by others, this apartment is connected to a house that sits in Box Canyon in Chatsworth at the top of a road. The road is a bit challenging the first time you go up it, but you quickly get used to it. The view from the porch is incredible, of the nearby mountains and across several communities. Great sunrises and moonscapes. YiFan was always available, immediately responsive, and helpful - a great host. It was a convenient location for us, less than 15 minutes from family. Anything you might need (Ralph's, Target, Home Depot, Trader Joe's, CVS, restaurants, etc.) is within a 15-20 minute drive. We loved staying here and look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was a wonderful feature! Peaceful location. Our guests were gracious and responsive . We would love to return here.

My goodness, what an awesome stay. The place was immaculate. There was every possible amenity you could think of, and some we didn’t even think of. A beautiful place to sit on the patio and have coffee in the morning, and an outdoor dining area to sit in the evening, where there was a beautiful view. There were two bedrooms, each of which felt like a private suite. The bathroom was immaculate with lots of amenities. There was this awesome feature: if you stay, you must see the soap bar. Such a nice touch. It was a great stay. We were there to celebrate my graduation, and it was over the top. Wonderful!! Jerri was the height of consummate host.

There is no signal going into the mountains or out of them so make sure you start your map navigation where you have connection! The place was gorgeous loved the views on the drive up and down but it is very steep so make sure you are up for the drive or the person you are with isn’t afraid of steep roads. The inside of the airbnb was very clean and spacious but I do recommend getting a bigger space heater as it gets cold at night. My favorite part was the bed super comfortable.

I selected this Airbnb for my parents during their visit to SoCal. We enjoyed how personable and accommodating our hosts were. The location is beautiful and peaceful. And the amenities such as the kitchen and dining area made their stay nice. They even went out of their way to pick up a box of decaf coffee for my mom, when she asked if they had any in the room. It was also very quiet, even though the hosts kitchen is attached to the hallway near the bedroom where my folks were staying. One thing to note, the bed was difficult to climb up into, as it is quite tall, which for my folks was not ideal. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable stay for them and we appreciated our host’s hospitality and welcoming.

I wish I could have actually stayed there longer but the Palisades fire started to break out so I left early , but she was very proactive with chatting with me about a refund before i decided to end my stay for the wildfires.

This was my second time staying with Julie and me and my girlfriend loved it just as much as we did the first time. So peaceful and private and Julie is a great host. I appreciate her for hosting us again. Thank you!

Our stay at this Malibu Airbnb was absolutely perfect. Nestled in the serene hills, the property offered stunning views, fresh air, and a sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere. We felt close to everything, yet far enough to truly unwind. Amazing place to stay. The views of the valley are incredible. Downtown Santa Paula with some great restaurants is within walking distance. Having the pool for a relaxing quick dip is awesome. JK is super cool. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay here again.

Really nice stay. Everything was clear- great communication, and for than a (decent) hotel stay in the area, you get a comfortable, spacious and peaceful stay. The Knolls has been compared to Topanga for good reason- it is delightfully funky but also peaceful - close to Simi but not burb-y. Do pay attention to the warning about getting there in daylight- I’d imagine that parking space might be a challenge at night. Otherwise, loved the very spacious deck with the rocky view, all the birds, separate spaces to sit, sleep, eat and watch tv. My favorite place that I’ve stayed in this area, and I’ve stayed at several.

The place was exactly as advertised. Perfect size for me and my daughter. Fanny was extremely communicative. She was also very flexible and allowed me to check in when we arrived a few minutes later. I would definitely stay there again.

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The photos do not do it justice. The architecture of the home and garden is phenomenal. The sweeping views of the ocean are jaw dropping and made for a relaxing stay. Robby was very welcoming and helped with many recommendations from restaurants to things to see around Malibu. I will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend anyone book this home if it’s available!

This place has truly enchane my partner and I’s anniversary. She has truly enjoyed cooking our food with their amenities during our stay. The showers felt refreshing during this hot summer, and the bed kept up cozied and comfortable during our nights. We are definitely in the talks of coming back! Thank you Myrna and Bruce!

Perfect location, perfect size, perfect furnishings

This was my second time at Karen’s and I was so happy to see a few upgrades that made my stay even better than the last. If you have dogs, this place is the safest and most secure. I loved letting my dogs roam around the enormous yard knowing there was no way they could get out or anything could hurt them. The house stayed nice and cool even though the days were hot and Karen and her team were very quick to message and make sure I was comfortable with everything I needed. I’m sure we’ll be back later this year!
