Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

Approx. 60 m² apartment on the 2nd floor (sloping ceilings are to be expected) to relax in the middle of Alt Duvenstedt in the Hüttener Berge Nature Park near the A7. The entire building where the apartment is located consists of two houses with three residential units connected by a former blacksmith. The apartment is in the older part of the building and has its own apartment entrance door. After many excursions on foot, by bike or car (or whatever), it is the ideal retreat.

It is located on the first floor and can be reached via a steep staircase. If you have difficulty walking, please choose one of our other four apartments.

It is very quiet, but still offers a good connection via the A7 or the train station directly in the village. The property is centrally located and at the same time relaxing and quiet on the edge of the forest.

Charming “chapel” in the north German Bullerbü

Our small "chapel" is located on a former farm between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Peacefully nestled between meadows, fields and moors lies our unmistakable "mini-village". We have four families with a total of five children as well as a friendly Hovawart dog, four cats, a rooster and two hens. All two- and four-legged animals run around freely on the property, there are no fences or gates.
