Apartment vacation rentals in Ovar

By far one of the nicest 1-BR Airbnb's we've stayed at. If you like contemporary architecture, lots of space, good natural light and an uncluttered apartment, this is the perfect spot for one or two people in Porto. Very central and touristy location, but the area is great to easily walk to restaurants, along the river or a metro ride across town. Comfortable bed in the back of the apartment, so it's a nice place to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with nice tableware, a and a nice eating area. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

The view was beautiful. Loved waking up with a cup of coffee sitting on the little deck watching the boats and activity on the river. The location was perfect! Close to anything and everything you might need.

Simply wonderful! I had to check in early because it was my wedding ceremony and he not only prepared everything very quickly to welcome us, but also left several surprises in the house, making our day even more special. Super attentive and ready to help us. The house was clean and organized. In addition to having a wonderful view, the house is very spacious, exactly like the photos. I definitely want to go back.

If you are going to Ovar or need a place between Porto and Aveiro, you MUST book this space. Adriana is so lovely and kind. You feel like you're at home just with her presence. The place was spotless and exactly as pictured although the bed looked smaller in the photos and we were delighted that it was a giant king. We loved our stay. Our daughter loved the backyard space and the daybed. She slept like she was at home, and that rarely happens. Adriana gave us recommendations and told us where local shops were. The apartment is on an adorable street without cars and that was sweet to walk right out into the action, but it wasn't crowded by cars.

Spacious, clean and quiet. Host is great. Right on the beach with easy access, lots of restaurants on the beach. Easy walking along beach path without sand if needed. Lots of food and shops walking distance. Nice location. About 12 min car ride to the canals for boat tours and shopping center.

I stayed for 3 nights from the 5th of June 25 It wasn't a self-check-in, but one of the hosts came and gave me the key and explained the house.(You don't have to do it, and I think self-check-in would be more comfortable for each other..) First of all, the view was the best. The house was spacious, there were no bugs, it was clean, and the view of the Doru River was the best, so even if I didn't go to Moru Park, the view of the accommodation was also good!! If I visit Porto again next time, it was a place to stay again. The interior of the house was nice, clean, and there were almost no bugs (maybe because we opened the window, we caught 2-3 mosquitoes and 1-3 flies, but we were very satisfied because there were no crawling bugs). There was an elevator, and it was a place I wanted to come again. However, to mention the shortcomings in the accommodation description, it seems that there is no air conditioner (there are 2 fans instead), there are about 30 stairs to the first floor with an elevator, and the bed is very slightly stiff. It seems to be an Ikea product. There was a washing machine, but it took more than 2 hours and drying took about 2 hours.(I didn't use it because I saw water stains.. haha) But despite that, considering the location, view, and cleanliness, I will stay again if I come next time. We loved our stay in Filipe’s wonderful apartment. It has everything you need. It is in a fabulous location close to the beach and restaurants. Stunning apartment. We had a lovely time. Perfect location, very comfortable and clean. I also have to mention it is on a very busy street but you would never know because it is very quiet in the apartment when the balcony doors or closed.

Absolutely worth it for the view! It’s incredible. It’s also well located, right next to the bridge for easy access to Porto. Definitely recommend!

Diogo was an excellent host – always friendly, helpful and with quick answers. The location of the property right by the sea was simply fantastic. The apartment itself exceeded our expectations and was even more beautiful than the pictures. The beach right outside the door was pleasantly quiet and hardly touristy, which allowed for perfect relaxation. The apartment is well equipped and offers everything you need for an all-round successful stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and this one truly stood out. Catarina and João were incredibly responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring hosts. The location is unbeatable — super central, easy to find, and within walking distance to everything you might need. The building feels secure and high-quality, and the apartment itself was spotless. Appliances worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable, and the linens were fresh and clean — something that’s surprisingly rare! I felt at home the moment I arrived. Bonus points for easy access to the highway to the beaches, a shopping center right across the street, and plenty of nearby supermarkets. I’ll definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Aveiro. Thank you both!

It was a beautiful apartment, very quiet and comfortble in a residence area. Wish to stay again when I visit to Porto!

Such a nice home and nice host! Check in was easy, the place was super clean and cute, and the host was so easy to communicate with. Only feedback is that it would be nice if shampoo and conditioner were provided, as well as some blankets for watching tv on the couch

Pedro’s place is absolutely stunning – the interior is beautiful, the location was ideal, and the roof terrace really made our trip feel special 🤍 The only downside was the check-in experience. Even though we were told check-in was from 3pm, and I let Pedro know multiple times that we’d be arriving around 6, we didn’t get there until 7 after a long and tiring travel day – only to be greeted on opening the door by one of the owners and a workman who were still in the apartment finishing up some work. They told us they’d been there since 5pm and weren’t sure when we were arriving so decided to go ahead anyway, which felt frustrating.. and awkward after the journey. They stayed for another hour after our arrival, which wasn’t ideal when all we wanted to do was relax. That aside, once we properly settled in, we loved our stay – really felt like home:) the space and location really are amazing & the free storage for our bags after checkout was so so helpful & a lovely touch <3 thanks

Very nice apartment. Joana was very friendly and quick to respond. The landscape is absolutely beautiful and the environment offers great birdwatching oppurtunities. There are many options for daytrips and nice casual restaurants to be reached on foot. Will definetely return.

The place was one staircase up from the elevator but stairs were easy to navigate. The place is very modern with two patios that were very private. Jessica was very helpful and responsive. Was in a good location and enjoyed our stay in Porto.

Much more than a very nice accommodation, Sonia gives all the tips and good addresses for a wonderful stay. It has everything you need, including a washing machine, dishwasher. Great!! Recommended.

I recommend it for a weekend for two

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, accommodating three couples with ease. The location is a peaceful coastal suburb a short taxi ride from the centre of Porto, and the extensive balcony provides stunning views of the ocean, particularly at sunset. It is the perfect place to return to after a busy day sightseeing in the city. The taxi journey is quick and easy, and we were able to enjoy the many attractions of this beautiful city, alongside the more relaxing atmosphere of the many bars within walking distance of the apartment. The apartment is perfect for a group of friends to experience Porto.
