Cozy old cottage with very quiet location in the village of Sunnanhed in Furudal. Close to nature, bike/hiking trails, nice lake with swimming, opportunities for kayaking and fishing. The cottage is not perfect but charming. Spacious kitchen and living room with a fire place. Toilet and shower indoors. Patio with ball barbecue. In winter, you live right next to the cross-country ski track with access to 80 km of well-groomed cross-country skiing tracks - Ski In Ski Out. In the area, there are several activities all year round such as fishing, swimming, paddling, hiking, berries/mushroom picking. Järvsö is about 18 km away and offers alpine skiing, cycling, etc.

Here you will find a private jetty, smaller beach for swimming and good opportunities for outdoor cooking. Rowing boat/eka is available to use and a private parking is available right next to the house. Running water is not available. We fill up water before check-in and it can be picked up smoothly at nearby water source. The toilet is equipped with a new incineration toilet.

Great area for both hunting and fishing. About 6 kilometers to the city center. Nearest grocery store 3 kilometres. Knead sport 0.5 kilometres. Scooter, quad bike, etc. are arranged. Pool in summer. Guest house, extra room in garage. Great location itself on a mountain and yet close to everything.

If you want to come to paradise, come to Monika’s B&B, it’s simply charming. Beautifully, tastefully decorated, she paid attention to every little detail, gorgeous tiles in the bathroom of all the places, very comfortable bed, adorable sitting room, everything was just perfect. I felt that I was in the south of France. Delicious breakfast with fresh and local produce, farm eggs, fresh strawberry milkshake and much more . Breakfast was served in a beautifully decorated kitchen. And last but not least, Monika is a superstar - warm, charming, caring, so generous with her time, responds to every need. She was so nice, took time from her busy day and drove me to the place I was interested in visiting the following day so I don’t get lost and know where to go. Wonderful experience.

Nice place for people who love peace and quiet. Cabin had everything we needed. You can fish, swim, hike nearby or just enjoy the view. Beautiful lake. You have a convenient boat with battery motor at the cabin with which you can explore the lake and fish. We stayed here for 10 days and it was perfect. We haven't been bored for a moment. Highly recommended, also really great for children. We will be back:) Ake is a friendly host who always responds and asks how things are going and if you need anything. Communication was easy. Thanks !
