Guesthouse vacation rentals in Outaouais

We had an amazing time!! When the weather was good we were able to go canoeing, kayaking, peddle boating, and play volleyball. When the weather wasn’t as nice there was a basement full of goodies, with pool, ping pong and darts, and an amazing “truck room” where my little boys had a blast with the big vehicles. We had anticipated a fooseball table which wasn’t there, but that was okay. The beds were comfortable, and there were so many of them - we had 16 people and there was still space left over!! The house was laid out so great, even with 8 kids the sound didn’t carry and they could be loud downstairs and we could enjoy our own activities upstairs. The sunroom was a favourite, so spacious! We loved the wrap around deck with a view of the lake. I was shocked at how fully stocked the kitchen was, we were planning to make a turkey dinner so I had thought I would need to bring a roasting pan and everything but they had it all there. We loved our stay and hope to come back!!

My family all enjoyed their stay at this homey cottage. Loved the close proximity to the river. The back yard, being fully fenced, was great for our dog. We enjoyed a nice fire in the fire pit outside in the evening. The kitchen & bathroom were clean & fully stocked with everything we needed. The neighbour’s were very friendly, the hot tub was relaxing & Pierre was very quick to respond to my questions.

We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was comfy and had everything we needed. The setup and sandy shoreline/shallow waterfront is ideal for a family with young children. Holly lent us some kayaks and a paddle board and the kids had an absolute blast with those. The folks next door gave us plenty of privacy but were approachable, helpful and just all-around nice people. Thanks for a great vacation, Holly and crew!

Thank you, Tasha and Shane, for a magical stay in your little slice of heaven. What a winter wonderland treat... Surrounded by nature - the trees and stars added to the perfect weekend reprieve we were looking for, and received. Hot tub, wood burning stove... couldn't have asked for anything more. Tasha and Shane were such thoughtful and responsive hosts, giving us a plethora of helpful info in regards to all the sights and activities nearby. In the end, we just hunkered down and enjoyed the cozy space they created. Thanks again, Tasha and Shane, for sharing your charming A-frame and peaceful property!

A great stay. The cottage we rented was under construction. Marc André was able to offer us a perfect alternative. The place is sublime, the cottage very comfortable and the welcome impeccable.

We stayed for one night and had a great experience. We requested an early check-in, which was kindly accommodated. The basement was clean and well-maintained, and everything met our expectations except the sofa come bed. Overall, we’re very happy with our stay!

Location location location. Nestled in a lovely part of Ottawa a short walk to the LRT or to restaurants and shops, it's a great place to see the City. The place was spacious and comfortable. A bit of an odd spot in an alleyway behind houses, but that makes it a lot quieter at night. Quiet neighbors and wonderful skylights made waking up on the nice weather days wonderful. Incredibly helpful and responsive chat! If I had to pick one thing to critique it would be the television and couch placement. Just a bit tricky to see with the layout, but if that's the number one issue I had with the place that's just showing how great a spot it is.
