Beachfront vacation rentals in Outaouais

We just got back from a lovely stay at the cottage on Spectacle Lake, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we truly had a great time. The rain kept us mostly indoors, but the cozy fireplace turned out to be a blessing we spent our time just relaxing, listening to the rain, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The cottage itself is tucked away in such a private, serene spot. Waking up to the sound of birds and looking out over the calm water from every window was incredibly calming. Everything was so clean and well cared for. Waking up to birdsong and calm water views from every window was such a treat. I was thrilled to finally spot a few beaver lodges in the Madawaska Valley — a small dream come true! The cottage was clean, the docks looked great, and having fresh drinking water available was such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. We didn’t get the clear skies we hoped for to stargaze, but that just gives us a reason to come back and we definitely will.

We love love love this beautiful cottage!!! It was our second stay with Brianna and Devin, and we cannot say enough great things about them and their lovely Airbnb:) It is quiet, peaceful, and fully equipped so you never have to leave. We love the extra features, especially the hot tub! Perfect spot for a getaway 👌 We will be back!

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! Such a beautiful and thoughtfully designed cottage! It was perfect for our group of friends (plus kids and dogs). The backyard is incredible — a spacious lawn right on the water, with a small beach and a good-sized dock that we used every day. The veranda is especially magical — perfect for morning coffee or just relaxing throughout the day. Just a small note that there’s no indoor dining table, but the covered outdoor seating still worked well for us, especially with all the cozy blankets provided. Inside, the fireplace made the space feel extra warm and inviting. The cottage is stocked with everything you might need, and check-in was smooth and easy. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful. Everyone in our group was raving about the place — I would truly, truly recommend it!

A very cute log cabin with a beautiful waterfront on a huge property. Super private, quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cooking utensils I needed. The bed was comfy. My dog enjoyed all the greenery.

Had a wonderful weekend at the lodge, can’t wait to go back! Cindy thought of every little thing, all the extra little details were perfect and so thoughtful.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Mike and Cindy were great hosts! They are very friendly, and good people. We loved the themed cabins. Everything in our cabin is picked for the “yellow canoe” theme. I love these types of thoughtful touches. They offered great suggestions for our activities. There are a lot of things to do in the area including complimentary kayaks, canoes, bicycles, firewood, etc. We enjoyed walking by their farms and interacting with their chickens. Their family welcomed us with open hearts. We will go back!

Clean modern style house, overlooking the water with a beautiful view. Definitely a summer place to rent to use the backyard with its swimming pool and bbq to spend time with friends

lovely cabin, great for a couple. campfires, kayaks and BBQs were great and you are about a 1 hour drive to Algonquin park.

I've stayed at André's place three times now, and each visit has been consistently excellent. The home is always spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. André is a fantastic host — responsive, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The location is beautiful

A beautiful cabin 25 minutes away from My. Tremblant. Highly recommended. The jacuzzi was a highlight after a day in the slope. The windows roof to floor make it special. Love everything about it.

Great place with lots of activities for kids and adults. We had a bit of bad luck with the road being washed out in advance of our arrival (which made for a hefty detour and the sound of construction vehicles for our duration), but the chalet and all its amenities more than made up for it. The host was very accommodating, there is plenty to do rain or shine, and the deer visits were an added bonus. Thanks Gabriel :)

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

Shirley's place is cozy yet spacious with a well equipped kitchen. It was the perfect place to spend during the Christmas holidays thanks to lots of Christmas decorations and a hot wood stove. Beds and sofas are comfy. Highly recommended.

I spent a weekend at Talia's place with my dogs to get away while my husband was on a work trip. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable, very spacious with wonderful outdoor and water access and amenities. Although it was just me and my dogs, I could picture having a blast with friends and family, as there were many games and activity options in and around the house. Will go back for sure!

This was our 3rd time staying at Jennifer and Tom's beautiful cottage. It is a great location for day trips to Ottawa yet secluded enough to just relax. Fantastic hosts and lots of personal touches. Highly recommend.

My second time staying at this Airbnb! Sandy and her husband are very friendly and the communication was always great! Sandy’s place is very spacious and we absolutely loved being right on the Ottawa River, the suite is very close to a few restaurants (we had dinner at THE POINT was very yummy) nearby although Kanata is only 30 minutes away will definitely come again. Thanks, Sandy.☺️

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again!
