With proximity to Vänern, there is the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family in this cottage with associated guest cottage for a total of 8 people! Bike path connects this idyll with nice beaches just 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp/Göta Kanal can be reached by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 minutes). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop on road 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

Newly built house with 3 bedrooms with double beds in each room (180, 160 & 160 cm). Kitchen, living room and hall are in open plan. It offers all amenities with underfloor heating, tiled bathroom, kitchen island, dishwasher, induction stovetop, built-in oven and microwave/oven. The house has a large terrace with outdoor furniture (in spring, summer and autumn) and charcoal grill. The house is about 75 meters from Lake Skagern and close to swimming, fishing and a campsite with a kiosk, mini golf, boat and canoe rental. Boat ramp may be used for a fee.

The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Relax on the farm dating back to the 16th century, and is located on the beautiful peninsula of Södra Råda in the southeast of Värmland located in the lake Skagern. Our Cows walk out year round and live as naturally as possible. Here you are close to both swimming and nature. If you want to go fishing or just row for a little while, there is a rowing boat to borrow. Just 7 km away you can see the salmoners playing Oct-Nov. Ribbingsfors golf course is 10 km away. Close to golf course. 40 minutes from Tivedens National Park. 15 minutes to Sjötorp with Göta Canal. 10 minutes to grocery store. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer in a building next door. There's also a shower and toilet shared with another person.

Well-sized wood-fired hot tub with bubble system and LED lighting, electric sauna and large veranda with garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue area, as well as beautiful views of Laxsjön where you can easily take a refreshing dip in the clear water with a sandy bottom via the sauna steps.

Skagern Lake House

A lake house above average, the house was built in 2020. The house is located in a small neighbourhood area, there is also a newly built loft in a building next to the lake house which will be available to rent as well. The loft has space for 2 people, with access to a double bed, without toilet and water. This will accessible in the original lake house. We do not accept animals in the house.
