In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Sjötorp - Newly renovated cottage by Lake Vänern

Newly renovated small cottage 2021 with a separate bedroom with double bed and wardrobes and a sleeping loft with two single beds. Fiber is located in the house. Approximately 100 meters to the beach. Good swimming for children. Bike path to Sjötorp where Göta Kanal is located and small cozy restaurants and a small well-stocked grocery store in Lyrestad, which is 7 km from Sjötorp with Göta Kanal. Go down to the edge of Lake Vänern in the evening and enjoy the sunset on the water horizon. Final cleaning is done by the guest, the landlord is not responsible for final cleaning.

Nice cottage near Vänern & Sjötorp!

With proximity to Lake Vänern, there is the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family in this cottage with associated guest house for a total of 8 people! Bike path connects this idyll with nice beaches just 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp/Göta Kanal can be reached by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 minutes). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop on Highway 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

Experience the luxury of nature and simplicity. Secluded just a hundred meters from the lake, surrounded by trees, is your cabin. A place to just relax or hang out without demands. Take a morning swim in the lake or sit and relax in front of the wood stove. By the lake, there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can use freely for a fee. It's a special experience you don't want to miss. Tiveden National Park with its easily accessible and wild nature is a popular excursion destination we really recommend. Enjoy the quiet of the countryside in this classic red cottage. The cottage is located on our property where there is another residential house. Here you live perfectly if you want to visit the cranes at Hornborgasjön, historic Varnhem or the thriving Vallebygden. Lilla Lilleskog is also a great place to stay when you want to visit Skara Sommarland 7 km away. Hiking trails and swimming lakes are within easy distance. The staff residence at Storön Gården

On Storön, you can experience tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. Storön is a car-free island with no land connection. Here you will find Lake Vänern, which offers fantastic sunsets and swimming from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We also have a fantastic forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In winter, there are nice ice rinks for long-distance skating. The staff residence is located on a farm and every day there is the opportunity to come along and feed the animals.

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

Welcome to a lovely home for up to 4 people who enjoy life. Fantastic sunsets! The cottage is modern and fresh. Living room and kitchen are combined. 2 beds in sofa bed. The dining area is a higher "bar table" with high chairs for lake views. A walk along the lovely promenade is not to be missed. The area is one of Sweden's most popular destinations when it comes to excursion opportunities. The cottage is best suited for a couple looking for relaxation or maybe a family with small children.

Welcome to our cozy cabin! Nestled by the edge of a peaceful pool, you'll find a hot tub that comfortably accommodates up to five people, offering a stunning panoramic view of the lake. The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Nature is just outside your door and in the evening you will watch the sun set over the lake. We look forward to welcoming you!

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.
