You will have the opportunity to learn about how to live more sustainably, including how to create closed-loop energy systems. Most of all, as a guest you will have the opportunity to be a part of an amazing community that seems to have a constant flow of fascinating and compassionate people from all over the world.

I was really delighted with the place and the hosts. Gonzalo and his wife were always very attentive and helpful, I never lacked anything and my needs were always attentive. I received suggestions to make my visit to the country an even better experience. I would definitely choose them again as hosts if I have the opportunity to return to Ecuador. Very grateful for everything.

I can really recommend this place. Very very nice rooms. Lot of additional rooms to use like living room, Billard room, TV room and a nice Garden. Mario and His wife a very friendly and helpful. We used also his Airport pickup. Just great to stay there. I can only highly recommend this place to stay. Peter

Very good service, the place is very nice and cozy, central. The only thing, relatively annoying was, having to ask her to give us water and that the hot water worked.

It was a huge pleasure to be Anderson's first guests! The house is very clean and everything is new, the room is big and the bed very comfortable. The best thing was to meet Anderson, a super sociable and very friendly person! Not only did he help us with everything, but he also took us and guided us through Ibarra, the lagoons and villages around. It looks like we've known each other since. It's a shame that for lack of time, we couldn't stay any longer but we recommend everyone what happens to Ibarra to stay in Anderson's apartment!! 1000% Recommended! Thank you very much for everything!!

A comfortable, clean place with the essentials and a pleasant stay. Mariela was an amazing host with a very friendly and friendly treatment, she waited for me at the door of the accommodation even when my trip was delayed, always attentive and predisposed to help, she makes you feel at home, the breakfast included is greatly appreciated. Our stay with Angelica and David was amazing. They are incredible hosts, who go above and beyond for you. They picked us up at the airport and also brought us to the bus station for our trip to Otavalo. They speak English, which really helped us. They were also very excited to share their culture with us, telling us about their favourite areas of Ecuador and about traditional foods. The accommodation was very clean and very spacious for our family of 4. There are 3 big bedrooms. Breakfast was also wonderful and plentiful. We can not say enough wonderful things about our stay. We highly recommend you stay in Carcelen with Angelica when you are in Quito.

We had an amazing experience staying at Patricia and Rumi's home. They welcomed us into their family, cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us. During the meal Patricia would sit and talk with us. She was very patient with our limited Spanish. My daughter was interested in their farm and Patricia showed us the different crops they were growing, and we walked with her to being the cows to another pasture and saw the chickens with their eggs and the rabbits and guinea pigs. Patricia also helped organize a horse riding trip for my kids and I when we expressed interest. My husband was able to work remotely from their place and there were several coffee shops close by that he worked from as well. Feel so fortunate to have the experience of staying with an Ecuadorian family.

The perfect place to disconnect, excellent value for money, good attention, good food, and a great treatment from the staff... I'm sure I'll go again

The place es truly beautiful and you feel that you are in the middle of the mountains, sorrounded by nature and wildlife. The whole stay is spotless, very comfortable and has every single thing that you might need. Eric gives a DELICIOUS breakfast with local fruits and home-made dishes. It's a truly wonderful place and I'm just exited to come back!

Great accommodation and location. Bertha's service is very pleasant, as is the breakfast. We had the opportunity to share some moments with Consuelo who is a sweetheart and seemed like part of our family as a grandmother, her company, although sporadic, was always the best. Highly recommended and set for another family trip
