Monthly Rentals in Otatara

Josephine & Ross's place was warm and dry on a cold weekend with plenty of space for the two of us. The beds were so comfortable and the linens were of good quality. It was also spotless and quiet! I am hoping to stay again the next time I am in town.

Hi Jenny, wow what a gorgeous place you have. The villa was absolutely spotless and I loved the interior decor! You really had thought of absolutely everything for your guests and stocked the villa so many great extras. It made for a wonderful stay - we absolutely loved it, thank you!

The Snug, its location and owners are tip top. The stay is spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable and Jessie the cat is ADORABLE. The only thing to note is the non inclusion of a photo of the view from The Snug and this might be confronting to people first arriving as it was us. The view is a garage area, many used vehicles, caravan and closed trailer, excavator and building materials (all tidily organised). So if its an Otatara bush reserve view you are after this is not your place but at this price point The Snug is honestly hard to beat.

Great thoughtful friendly hosts, super communication as they answer inquiries pretty quickly. Such a lovely private, cozy, place to stay with nature at your door, rural enough to get that peaceful space we all search for in a home away from home. Still close to town only minutes away with local restaurants in either direction of the cottage. Great place to take a stroll and call into the local for a cold one or some bluff oysters and hot chips at the fish n chip shop. Enjoyed watching the sheep play tag, listening to the Tui in the trees and watching the Fantail flitter around. Everything we needed and more thank you very much.
