Beautiful modern traditional house

Short walk to the nearest train station and konbini. AC worked great in all rooms. Make sure you are with people you are comfortable with as the room to the toilet is in one bedroom and the shower is in another.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Location gives fantastic access to the city through the Green Line (Karasuma). Easy to access from Kyoto Station shinkansen. Less than ten minute walk to the Aeon Mall. All facilities in working order. The washing machine is very useful in extending the usefulness of your carried clothing.

I booked it with 4 families with children, but one family said whether it would be possible to go with their children's fever. I talked to the host, Fujita, and they said that they were able to accommodate the change in the number of people on the same day, which was really helpful to see the last minute. This time, the children were a little bigger, and we wanted to have a relaxing day with a barbecue, etc., and it was a lovely place! I enjoyed it!Thank you!

I can’t say enough great things about Uzu’s place. It was so clean and comfortable. When we checked in she was very thorough about the house and also about the surrounding areas and places to go. She had a great hand drawn map of the area that we actually used a lot! The traditional beds we chose to sleep in were very comfortable. Everything in the house is labeled which makes it very easy to find things. Uzu went out of her way to show us local restaurants and spots to try. She is a very friendly host that cares about making her guests stays very enjoyable! One thing we found was that it was a bit out of the way of central Kyoto. However, if you want to experience a quiet traditional neighborhood this is the spot! It’s about a 10 min walk to the closest train station or bus stop. Really great place for exploring Kyoto and relaxing afterwards! The host is absolutely fantastic, always ready to assist with whatever issues you might have. The space itself is quite modern as well, with a few details that are quite uncommon but make the place that much better for it. Safe to say it is one of my favourites so far.

Convenient location, spacious apartment! The nearby convenience stores and food options were super handy. However, weekend nights could get a bit loud till 2-3am. Overall, great stay, would recommend for its central location.

The room was as pictured, and I was able to relax immediately after check-in, and I was able to enjoy the pool, sauna, BBQ, and the dogs had a good time, and at night, two sawtooth stag beetles gathered in the light, and both the children and adults were very excited! However, when I found a sea slug the size of a small sea cucumber (which I later looked up on Google Lens), I was thrilled, and I'm sure others who are curious about the unknown will be surprised!But people who hate insects will despair! So if you don't like insects, a BBQ at night may not be suitable for you! It was great to get up early in the morning and watch the sunrise and have a vacation that was like a model! Another thing that I'm a little worried about is that everyone can share and enter their personal information in the field after making a reservation, but if they share and enter it, everyone's personal information, such as their address and phone number, will be visible, so I think that needs to be considered. Other than that, we had a very good holiday, and it was a facility that I would like to use again!

Thank you for hosting us at this wonderful place. The spacious dog run is very open, and the dogs can have a good time, and I was happy to see that. The room was stylish, clean, and fully equipped with amenities, and I had a pleasant stay throughout. I've stayed in a lot of different places, but this may be the first time I've ever felt like I wanted to stay again. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity to go to Awaji Island. The sauna was especially spacious, and the cold water bath was the best refreshment. I visited with my family.The barbecue, bonfire, Heidi-like swing, hammocks, and sea views were also awesome and I enjoyed it.The facilities are clean and safe. Thank you very much. Large cars require quite a bit of driving skills.

The house is very good, the environment is very good, very close to the station, it's better to sleep early and get up early.

Traditional Japanese homes, very clean and cozy, surrounded by local communities.Convenient location, a🚶‍➡️ few minutes walk to the Eastern Market subway station🚇, there is Lawson nearby🏬, very convenient for eating, living and traveling. What surprised and delighted us was the hospitality, friendliness and generosity of the Host's family. The Host is very responsible and has a strong sense of time. He picked us up at the subway station in advance and recommended a faster route when he sent us off. The Host is very humorous and smart. Although we couldn't communicate with each other, he could quickly understand what we meant. There was plenty of water and food in the room, because our flight landed late, we thought we would be hungry the first night, the host's thoughtfulness made us very touched🥹! During our stay, we were also fortunate to follow the Host's family to experience the local food and music culture. The Host's wife is very elegant and intelligent, and her smile is very warm, just like a neighbor's aunt. We also talked to the sister about skin care and beauty and asked the brother for hair care and hair growth tips😂.If there was enough time, I would have tried on the beautiful kimono of the Host's wife and sister👘, it's a bit of a pity😔 Remember that there is a saying in Murakami's novel that people who meet will meet again. Overall, perfect for our stay in Osaka. We wanted a central location, walkable to the main areas that we were interested in, and this was perfect for that. Yes, it's compact, but we knew that going into it. It still had room division (a sliding door), private laundry facilities and a balcony, which was unique to find for this location and price. It's basic, and could have a better laid out kitchen / facilities plan (eg. location of pots and cutlery were a bit confusing, you had to roll away the bins to access them) but we understand that's the nature of organising a tight space. Some other minor things were confusing, eg. it wasn't 100% clear what the wifi or checkout instructions were and we had to assume some things or ask for the info. However the host was very friendly and amenable to our questions or suggestions. Thank you for providing this property!

The accommodation was tidy, the location was safe, the downstairs needed a resident lock key to open it, and it was also safe to go back at night on the street.The location is easy to go to Universal Studios, and there is also a bus downstairs of the accommodation to Umeda/Osaka station.I would like to stay again in Osaka!
