I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

La Cabaña first floor

PaulRating, 5 stars28 months ago
Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.
The modern kitchen features sleek black cabinetry and a marble floor, complemented by stainless steel appliances. A spiral staircase leads to the upper level. A kitchen island with seating for six is visible, along with a washer and dryer unit thoughtfully integrated into the design.

Casa Quepos near Manuel Antonio with Jacuzzy

AzizaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hands down nicest place, really enjoyed it. manuel Antonio is right around the corner! The powerful AC throughout (kitchen and both bedrooms) provided the best night's sleep of our entire trip. The location is ideal - close to shops and restaurants while feeling secure behind the gated entrance. We absolutely loved the luxurious touches - especially the comfortable beds, large washer/dryer, and that amazing jacuzzi shower room! The balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. After a week of traveling, this place felt like absolute luxury, and we appreciated how responsive and kind the host was. We felt the cleanest and most comfortable we'd been in Costa Rica - honestly can't understand how anyone could leave this gem a negative review!
A rustic cabin constructed of local wood is set against a lush green landscape. The roof is slanted, designed for efficient rainwater drainage. Vibrant red flowers bloom on nearby trees, while mist gently envelops the hills, enhancing the serene atmosphere of the surrounding nature.

San Vito Coto Brus Cabin

CheloRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I am already looking forward to returning 💞 It was the perfect location to unplug from the rest of the world and enjoy a tech-detox cozied into the hills of San Vito. It is very clean for a natural home, and only gave 4 stars for cleanliness for the sake of keeping foreigners realistic when arriving. This is Costa Rica, and things are very alive here. Meaning, be aware thay this home is very connected to beautiful natural elements you are likely coming to appreciate and get closer to. Pristine is unrealistic when you're going more rustic. So embrace the elements 🙏 And this is the perfect place to do just that!
The Jungle Pod Cabin is framed by lush greenery, showcasing a unique angular design with a wooden exterior. A pathway of stones leads to the cabin's door, while vibrant plants add color to the natural surroundings beneath a partly cloudy sky.

Waterfall Farm Cozy Cabin Stay

KarliRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Definitely a gem! I love San Luis and this is a great place to stay. The cabin is super cute and the property is gorgeous. I loved the rainbow eucalyptus trees right outside the cabin. The amenities were very nice, super relaxing - especially the infrared sauna and the yoga area, which both have a view of the distant waterfall. I especially enjoyed doing yoga while watching toucans fly from tree to tree in front of me :)

La Muñequita Lodge 1 - Culture & Nature experience

TomRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Heyner’s place is true luxury. But NOT if luxury means valet parking, AC, hot tubs and online connectivity. It’s the nature, the friendly family, the home-cooked meals and the stories! If you wish to see genuine Costa Rican life, then consider spending a night or two here! It’s close to Corcovado National Park, the Archeological Museum and everything Sierpe, Palmar Sur & Palmar Norte offer. The photos and narrative are accurate reflections of the Lodge! Dear Heyner, thanks for hosting us! Thanks for the kindness of you and your beautiful family! Continued success! Pura Vida!

View of the Villa Lupita mountain

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Luis was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive, and had no problem answering our questions despite the language barrier. All the necessities were available, as well as extras we didn't expect. His family even gave us a small parting gift for each of my young children on our last day. The house is in a beautiful location; somewhat difficult to find at first through the winding mountain roads, but once we knew where it was it was nice to have such a private spot. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Having a morning coffee on the patio looking out over the valley was my favourite part of our trip!

Jungle Jorge's

NathalieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Wow, what can we say....we had THE BEST time staying with Jorge at Jungle Jorge. Drakes Bay itself is such a wonderful place to visit, a real hidden gem! It definitely has a feeling of being more real Costa Rica, untouched by tourism. We had the most incredible time there, diving, snorkelling, walking and exploring. But the best bit was getting to meet Jorge and staying in his Jungle room. He is one of the world's wonders, just an incredible human. He was so very kind with his time and advice for the area. We loved his dog, Ganya and his cat. I recommend everyone go and stay with Jorge and we will be back!!!

Mountaintop Cabina-Ocean View

MarenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
One of my favorite places I’ve stayed in CR! Amazing location with beautiful views of surrounding mountains and the ocean. Just a 20min drive to the beach and walking distance (3 miles) to Elysiana waterfall which I HIGHLY recommend. While leaving the waterfall & hiking to the view point my partner and I saw a PUMA hanging out on the trail. Luckily we scared it as much as it startled us so it silently scurried off real quick. HIGHLY recommend this adorable, cozy, clean cabin! Great communication from the host & easy self entrance & exit. Hope to be back soon! Gracias!!

Bajo Bosque Standard Cabin

RachaelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Serene & peaceful: perfectly placed hammock that caught a nice breeze in the afternoon. Small kitchen equipped with all the essentials for a few days (a private típico Breakfast is also available from Maria). Open-air was lovely, fell asleep to nature sounds instead of a recording. Sebastian was super helpful & you can pay to get rides into town for early boat departures & things. It’s a bit of a walk/hike to the cabins in the heat, so if you aren’t keen to walk, there’s local taxis & moto bikes available. Overall, a perfect retreat to slow down after Corcovado hikes & diving adventures. Thanks so much Sebastian & Maria 💙

Five Days in Paradise – A Cabin Retreat in Rincón de San Josecito, Puntarenas Spending five days at this cozy jungle cabin was an unforgettable experience. Nestled deep in nature, it offered the perfect balance of peace, adventure, and authentic Costa Rican charm. Upon arrival, the warm tropical air and symphony of wildlife immediately set the tone for our stay. The cabin itself was beautifully crafted—modern and comfortable, blending seamlessly into the lush surroundings. Large windows, lounging chairs on porch and the beach views across the front yard made it feel like a true escape. After waking to the sounds of birds, we set out to explore the stunning coastline. A short drive led us to Playa Platanares, a serene, uncrowded beach perfect for a morning swim. Later, we hiked to a nearby waterfall, taking in the lush greenery and cooling off in the crystal-clear waters. Five days felt just enough to soak in the beauty of this place, but not nearly enough to experience it all

Mango Cabin near Dominical & Nauyaca waterfall

GabrielaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Omali’s place was extremely beautiful, peaceful, and exactly as described- truly a place to go that feels like a home away from home. Upon entering the property, it felt very private, quaint, & inviting. All the amenities you could need were right there. Her home is literally walking distance from Nauyaca’s office entrance and that’s exactly what we were hoping for. If we didn’t have the rest of the country to explore, I could’ve done a few more days at Omali’s home because of how inviting and relaxing it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I will DEFINITELY be recommending this location to the friends and family that plan to visit Costa Rica 💚

Hidden Breeze Cabin

JonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a great Airbnb. Gabriel helped show us to the entrance of the house when we got turned around on the mountain. The location is stunning and we saw hummingbirds outside on the flowers around the porch almost every day. Pros: - Location is unbeatable - WiFi is great - inside is pristine - Gabriel is super kind and helpful. We got sick and he was able to help us figure out places to get medicine and even offered to extend our time at the location if we needed it. - Great kitchen - awesome shower - incredibly private there is nobody anywhere near you - cool wildlife around (we saw plenty of snakes, lizards, leaf cutter ants, hummingbirds etc.) - Gabriel provided candles for when power went out which were nice and romantic for us during our honeymoon Cons: - Power does go out every now and then and that means no fans which makes things much hotter. It went out 2x for us in our 5 days. - Bugs and lizards do get inside - You should have a 4x4 vehicle to access
