Beautiful 2BR Beach Lodge Set In Stunning Gardens

JeniRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A fantastic place to stay… off the beaten track in and amongst the trees surrounded by nature. Very private! The lodge is well equipped, comfortable, warm and with spectacular gardens. We had a lovely long weekend and even saw a red squirrel a few times doing a nut run. Recommend others going to the Butchers and Fishmongers in Kirkcudbright to stock up. Fantastic produce and a great price! Please note the Sat Nav does NOT take you to the right place so follow the detailed instructions (including photos). You can walk from the Lodge to Rockcliffe and Kippford through the forest which is a stunning walk (perfect for dogs off lead) and takes about 30/40 minutes. Bring your own dishwasher tablets, oil and everything else you might need to cook with.

Auchengashell, stunning sea views

MartinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house and grounds are spectacular- with amazing views across the Irish Sea to Cumbria and the Isle of Man. Amazing array of wildlife within the grounds- red squirrels, hares, roe deer, red kites all frequently sighted. The house is so comfortable and very tastefully decorated with very high quality fixtures and fittings. The surrounding area is very beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. One of the very best AirB&Bs we have stayed in, highly recommended.

Peaceful Cottage with Log Burner & Views

PaulineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The position of the cottage was perfect being walking distance from Kirkcudbright while being peaceful. We loved watching the red squirrels from the lounge window. We also had visits from deer and saw lots of bats. Anne was a perfect host and was very friendly and approachable. The only possible downside was the wifi connection which could have been better.

Ruth's Yurt

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely love Ruth’s Yurt! Such an incredibly peaceful and beautiful place! Views out to the hills, and the coast and sea are stunning from the door! So quiet… apart from wind in the trees nearby, birdsong all day, and the occasional snort from happy horses in the paddock! The yurt is very welcoming, and homely and cosy! Super comfy bed… and all furnishings, cushions, throws, lighting, sheepskins etc make it all feel very relaxing and comfortable! Wood burner is a work of art in its own right… and easy to use, lights up really fast and warms everything in no time! Planning next visit already!
