"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! We are closed for Winter, will re-open Mid-April. Thank you.

Rabbitrock Retreat

Coastal village. Rabbitrock Retreat is located towards the end of a dirt road among wildflower meadows and apple trees, quiet except for the sound of birds and distant church bells. It is named after a local landmark Rabbit Rock that exists in the woods near our house, known only by select locals who used to say you could “always catch a rabbit at Rabbit Rock”. It is a place of abundance for sure, and we are happy to get to share it.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend at Andrew’s place! The interior was gorgeous and comfortable, the backyard and path down to the water were so pretty and private. Andrew was super responsive, kind, and helpful. Belfast is an adorable little town, we would definitely go back.

The South Bay Cottage "on the rocks"

the cottage was such a great location and space for our stay. centrally located to be able to get to Deer Isle, Bucksport, and acadia/bar harbor. driving to bar harbor and acadia was about an hour but the views were so beautiful with changing leaves and views of the water. we could sit at night with great views of the sunset or relax in the cozy cabin. we enjoyed hiking in acadia and great pond mountain, eating pizza from strong’s brewing, and exploring everything the cottage had to offer :) a perfect first visit to maine.

Chris’s place was beautiful and spotless. Had everything you could possibly need while being away from home. Anything I needed was right already provided, along with snacks for hikes and pancake mix that we used for breakfast on our final day before leaving. From the beautiful bathroom with the shower AND the tub, to the high ceilings in the kitchen/living room, the art that is all around the home, games, entertainment, etc. this place is absolutely perfect and we can’t wait to make our next trip to Maine to stay here again! Thank you so much for hosting us, Chris!

This is a little slice of paradise. I came here to do nothing, essentially--read & swim for a few days in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Diane was immediately welcoming with a warm greeting and quick tour. You have privacy here, but if you need anything, she is right next door. I couldn't recommend staying here more highly! I had an amazing stay at the Islesboro Boathouse! The location was incredibly quiet and peaceful — a perfect getaway if you're looking to relax and recharge. The setting was beautiful, and I truly felt removed from the hustle and bustle. Mark was an incredible host — so kind and helpful, especially with navigating the ferry and anything else I needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
