Royal Dutch Windmill d'Orange Molen Netherlands

Our recent stay at the windmill was wonderful. We were met on arrival by Cynthia and given a wonderful tour of the property answering all questions we had and giving us valuable information regarding surrounding areas of interest. The home is as advertised and beautifully kept. I would strongly recommend having the volunteer miller Marijn come by and perform the full tour of the windmill itself it was fascinating and a real treat to see. I cannot think of a better and more authentic place to spend a trip to the Netherlands. Cynthia met us again before we left and was always available via text for any needs. Wonderful trip!

Private plumbing: Charming 2 person safari tent

The stay far exceeded my expectations. It is extremely quiet, familial, relaxing and welcoming. All amenities were as described and in order. We did the canoe trip, this was also excellent. The bar & lunch place next to the accommodation is nice and affordable. This is an ideal location to completely disconnect and enjoy.

Ropstaart

The stay at Ellis & Evert was above expectations. Westmaas turns out to be - we had never heard of it - an idyllic village on a dike with an old mill and characteristic, old houses. The airb&b of Ellis & Evert is located on their own gigantic grounds and has all the comforts. It is comfortable and luxurious. There's even a big green egg! Communication with the host is very friendly and accessible. We have a few small points of feedback ourselves: the bed is a bit saggy, so you roll into each other in the middle. Also, the kitchen could be a little better stocked, for example, we missed a cheese slicer, dish soap, more bowls and glasses than measured for 2 people. Furthermore VERY comfortable, clean jacuzzi, had a great stay!
