Monthly Rentals in Ongaonga

We were looking for a place to stay overnight after attending a family funeral in Napier, and finding an Airbnb close to the highway south of Napier isn't easy. So we were delighted to find The Phoenix on Millar in the village of Otane. Not only is it conveniently situated but is a cosy haven on a cold wet night. Good heating and a warm, comfortable bed. It also has a well equipped kitchen, and under cover parking is a bonus. We did have a little trouble finding the gate in the dark but that was a very minor problem. I'm sure that Carolina's place would be equally delightful in the summer especially with the tiny leafy courtyard off the bedroom just beckoning for a morning coffee or quiet read . would definitely recommend 🙂

We had a fabulous few days at this charming cottage, the hosts were amazing and so helpful and amenable. We took our horses with us so had a paddock for them which was superb to have them close by. The outlook from the cottage was beautiful, it was the perfect getaway and we will definitely be back.

Excellent place to stay comfortable privacy, Hazel go and extra mile to do her service for the guests. All the selection of breakfast was excellent. I am highly recommend. Hazel place or if you like to have experience staying on the farm. Come and stay with Hazel you won’t be disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. Despite the windy weather on the first night, still slept like a baby through it all on a nice and cosy bed. Place was immaculate in terms of cleanliness, we felt right at home. Looking forward to coming back again, thanks Leah
