Beautiful house perfect for a large group! Bedrooms were well sized so great for couples and for friends sharing beds. The furniture, kitchen &, bathrooms plus sheets, towels etc were high quality and felt lux (which is great when you’re spending more money collectively). The house was well designed to fit a large group so that the living spaces could house us all as a group but the bedrooms were separated enough for privacy and sleeping. Large kitchen especially the island makes for easy prep even with a large group. The 4 car garage was FANTASTIC as we could all park easily (with big 4WDs) despite it being on a main road. Located in the middle of both Nelson and Shoal Bay so well situated. Lee was quick to respond to questions but also on the ball with sending check in information which made check in seamless. 10/10 recommend for a group holiday and would rebook!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Nelson Bay! The location is absolutely perfect – just a 15-minute walk to the marina and a short drive to all the main attractions in the area. The house itself was spacious, modern, and exceptionally well-equipped, offering great value for our group of 14. The heated pool was a standout feature – perfectly maintained with just the right amount of chlorine, making it a delightful spot to relax and unwind. Brian and Sue were phenomenal hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even welcomed us with two bottles of wine – such a thoughtful touch! The amenities were modern and well-kept, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience for everyone. This property truly exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. Highly recommended for large groups or families looking for a fantastic getaway in Nelson Bay!

Such a unique house. Plenty of space, walking distance to the ferry into Newcastle CBD and the beach. Host was flexible with earlier check in and later check out but I guess that depends on bookings before and after.

The home was fantastic and was perfect for 3 couples to enjoy our weekend getaway. Mary Ann was a super host, very organised and easy to communicate with. The living area was large enough for some to watch TV while others sat at the table to chat. The outdoor area was perfect to view the sunset, or if too cold, to view from the comfort and warmth of the living room. The bedrooms were all a good size with comfortable beds & good quality linen. The main bathroom was enormous, with a decent size spa. All good quality cleaning products and equipment made the check out clean up quick and easy. An easy walk around the bay to the Deck for yummy take-a-way easy dinner and a Sunday brunch, made for the perfect get-a-way.

The house was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and very well-maintained, making it perfect for our group of families with kids. Billy was an excellent host: very friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to see if we were comfortable, without being intrusive. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and everything we needed was close by. We would highly recommend Billy’s place to anyone looking for a relaxed and hassle-free getaway. Looking forward to booking with him again in the future!

Our extended family had a wonderful long weekend at Windmill Lodge. There is lots of space and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for large groups. We also made use of the wood fire for pizza and the extra large paella pan. Lots of lounges and seating and a big long dining table perfect for large groups. Tanya was very helpful is setting up extra beds as we required and we felt very at home.

Wow. This place was amazing. Beautiful modern house, great location, spotlessly clean. It had lots of space, and I honestly could not fault anything. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Stephen’s place was the perfect retreat for a rainy weekend. Even though the weather kept us indoors, the spacious layout and fantastic amenities made our stay incredibly enjoyable. There was plenty to do and everyone had a great time. Stephen was also a wonderful host, being very responsive, clear, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Bryony’s place is just magical. It had everything we needed and more. The view and the wrap around verandah were what stood out for us. Having small people, it meant they were safe when they were playing outside, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was really well equipped and we appreciated the little things we didn’t have to pack such as oils, coffee, dishwashing tablets and shampoo etc. The house was extremely comfortable for a large party of 9 as we were able to retreat to different areas of the house when needed. It would be even better if there was a vacuum and a mop so that we could adequately clean up after ourselves. We had the most enjoyable time and hope to book again.

This is the second time we've stayed at Greg's place. Always a big group and we find the house ideal for us. We love the kitchen and cooked up a feast with all the available utensils. Relaxing afterwards in the Spa was the cherry on the top. Greg is incredibly responsive and we know the house will be spotless with all the extras such as linen, towels, good working appliances and a well stocked fridge etc Can't recommend Greg highly enough

We selected Ruth’s BnB based on availability and proximity to John Hunter Hosp. So very glad we did as we got an extremely flexible Hosp, air BnB that had a home feel and all the little nick nacks that you need in daily life that many BnBs don’t cover.

Excellent home for our family gathering. Sally is a generous host with a few nice surprises in addition to the basic staples. Very well laid out accommodation and the pool area was a real bonus. Lovely modern beach style decor in keeping with the location close to the ocean. Highly recommend.

The place offered stunning views, was clean, safe, and fully equipped with all the amenities. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, including table tennis, a pool table, BBQ, and kayaking. We especially loved the house’s design and decor. The host was welcoming and communicated openly.
