Vacation rentals in Omala

Lovely place, very peaceful and private accommodation. 30~ min walk to the nearest beach, Agios Thomas (which was lovely.) Pool was excellent and certainly the highlight. Everything was clean and well maintained. Only notes for future visitors are that: (1) a car is recommended since it’s quite remote, and (2) contact the host before arrival for directions to the accommodation (as google maps led our taxi driver to the wrong entry.) Overall it was excellent!

Siamo stati molto bene, la casa è ben fornita, spaziosa e molto pulita. La zona è un piccolo paese, quindi molto tranquilla a parte qualche cane che abbaia, ma non disturba il sonno. Ci sono 2 terrazze da cui si gode una vista bellissima. Non è proprio vicino alle spiagge, ma il tema è che Cefalonia è molto grande e comunque rimane una ottima posizione centrale per visitare le varie spiagge. C’è da fare un po’ di scale interne per arrivare all’appartamento, e per chi come noi porta molti bagagli, non è il massimo, ma è una fatica da fare all’inizio e alla fine. In generale siamo stati bene, Anastasia è la sua famiglia sono molto accoglienti, vi sentirete a casa.

Wir hatten das große Glück, eine Woche in Kostas’ traumhaftem Beachhaus verbringen zu dürfen und was sollen wir sagen…Es war mehr als ein Aufenthalt, es war ein Ankommen. Kostas ist nicht nur ein Gastgeber, er ist ein Mensch mit Herz , bei dem man vom ersten Moment an spürt, dass es seine Berufung ist, anderen das Leben schöner zu machen. Das Haus selbst lässt keine Wünsche offen . durchdacht, liebevoll ausgestattet, in perfekter Lage. Es fehlt an nichts. Und doch schenkt es so viel: Ruhe, Schönheit, Nähe zur Natur und dieses seltene Gefühl von echtem Zuhause auf Zeit. Wir haben die Insel, das Licht, das Meer und diese Unterkunft in vollen Zügen genossen ..‘eine Woche voller Leichtigkeit, Sonnenstrahlen und dankbarer Stille. Wenn es 10 Sterne gäbe ,wir würden sie vergeben. Und wiederkommen. Ganz sicher.

Highly recommended! We loved staying at this apartment. It was perfect: The cleanliness was impeccable, very cozy, beautifully designed, extremely well equipped (from kitchen accessories, condiments, good quality olive oil to the bathroom products – everything that you can think of – toothpaste, toothbrush, shower gel etc.). Notable features include dishwasher and a huge terrace with a fantastic view. I will miss drinking my coffee and eating at that terrace, enjoying the view and the sunset. Parking garage is also a plus. Sofia and Stavros are very kind, incredibly responsive and friendly… amazing people. The complementary fruits, food and drinks that they have added in the fridge for us were great after a long drive and a good start of the next day breakfast. This might be the most well stocked Airbnb apartment we've ever stayed at! Definitely a perfect choice, you will see!

We have just returned from our holiday and what a lovely experience we had. This was our fifth time in Kefalonia and I think the best accommodation of them all. Ideally placed to explore the island and only 15 mins from Argostoli where we spent a few evenings, which gave us a nice mix of quiet countryside and the gentle buzz of nightlife in the main town. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean with all the amenities we needed and it was cleaned every day and towels replenished. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we appreciated the use of the communal BBQ area, which we used several times, and the beautifully established garden with olive and lemon trees. Nic, the host, was welcoming and friendly, as were all the staff we met there, including Elsie, the gentle and friendly dog! We would definitely recommend to others and will most certainly be back again in the future! Thank you for a memorable stay.

we hadden uiteraard geboekt voor de locatie maar we kregen er Helene en Billy bij. Wat een fantastische hosts zijn zij. De manier waarop zij hun B&B runnen straalt passie uit en liefde voor hun plek en hun gasten. We waren 25 jaar getrouwd in augustus en bij aankomst stond er een fles prosecco en een lieve kaart in het huisje en een koelkast vol lekkere spulletjes. Helene reageerde heel snel op vragen en dacht pro actief mee. Ze had voor ons maanden geleden al het Olive Lounge restaurant geboekt. Dit is op 5 minuten afstand met de auto en op de avond zelf brachten en haalden ze ons zodat we een drankje konden drinken. het huisje en de omgeving zelf zijn een heerlijke uitvalbasis voor uitstapjes, wandelen etc. in het huisje kom je niets tekort en ook het zwembad en de tuin is zo fijn en rustig. Je moet wel van honden houden omdat de twee geadopteerde hondjes van Helene en Billy, Jess en Izzy veel liefde komen halen. Kortom boeken en genieten van een plek om terug te komen.

This was the most beautiful and peaceful stay I could have asked for. Sitting out on the deck looking up at the stars at night was incredible. I felt incredibly safe each night as someone staying on their own.
