Beach house vacation rentals in Old Saybrook

The Ashford Lake cottage was absolutely perfect for our sister birthday weekend! The hot tub, fire pit, screened in porch, and dock all were perfect for catching up, relaxing, and enjoying each other's company. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and everything was extremely clean. Jason was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I can't recommend this cottage enough and hope to visit again in the future!

Perfect location and accommodations for extended family to stay for a college graduation weekend! Clean, spacious and well appointed. Nice views and enjoyed using the kayaks on the bay. Garon’s responsiveness and communication were excellent.

We love staying at Cail and Jayne’s beach home in Milford! This is our second time at one of their homes, first time on the marsh side of street. It’s a beautiful setting and great for bird watching! This is also why I love staying at superhost properties. Communication is always fast and easy, the place is spotless, tons of amenities, easy to follow instructions, comfortable beds, and the home is decorated beautifully. My Mom and I were sad to leave. Tl;dr: Great home, great hosts, great location. Highly recommended!

This was our second time renting Brian's place for a getaway and this stay was as excellent as the last. We love this house so much and Brian could not be a better host. His communication is stupendous; he was always immediately available to respond to any questions we had.

Pleasant stay, super clean and very responsive host

The house was very clean, with a beautiful, large, well stocked kitchen. The view was lovely and it was wonderful hanging out on the deck. The beds were very comfortable. The house would be a little more practical if one of the bedrooms had two beds, so more people could sleep in the actual bedrooms. The pull out beds were not as comfortable and the bed in the loft is only accessible with a ladder. However, for a small group or people who aren’t picky about their sleeping arrangements it is a fantastic place to stay. You can’t beat the view and proximity to the water!

We had a great stay at Stephen's house in Greenport. The house was absolutely beautiful, there was plenty of space, and it had everything you could possibly need for a great stay. You can tell the house is cherished, lived in, and cared for by the owners. The location is perfect and the town of Greenport is full of amazing restaurants, beautiful sights (who knew it was full of gorgeous cherry blossoms?), and there are many things to do in the area.

This house is amazing, even more spacious than the photos indicate. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hosts were great communicators, and made sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were nicely furnished and so beautiful. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Karine’s cute house! The kitchen was very nicely outfitted, beds were super comfortable, and the big wood-burning fireplace was excellent! We appreciated all the cool artwork around the house, and Karine’s wonderful photography book! We got to enjoy lots of bird life, and we were lucky to have a bit of snow. What a beautiful and peaceful spot. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool and lovely big deck and yard!

We loved staying at this home - it was the perfect place for our group of ten. The outdoor space was definitely the highlight, with the pool & spa being our favorite part of the trip. The only thing to note is that we weren’t supplied quite enough toilet paper or paper towels, though I did not reach out for more - It was the last evening when we ran out and we were leaving early the next morning. The trash requirements were a surprise after booking, but going to the transfer station was easy enough, and it is listed on the house rules. Overall, an excellent stay and would absolutely return!

Went with a bunch of my girlfriends and had such an amazing time! Lisa's home was amazing and we all felt right at home! So happy that it was a common ground where my girlfriends and I were able to gather around and create unforgettable memories.

The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We were there for six nights celebrating our son’s graduation from the United States Coast Guard Academy, and couldn’t have found a better place. Our family enjoyed gathering and spending time together. The house had everything you could need - Tracy and Patrick clearly care about creating an inviting place for families to enjoy and were very responsive. The location was perfect with easy access to restaurants, a grocery store, New London, Mystic, Foxwoods and Point Judith.

Beautiful home and easy stay! It was perfect for a girls trip and so comfortable and beautiful. I wouldn’t recommend for families but absolutely would for adults who want a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

We stayed here for a long term collegiate rental. It was everything we could've asked for. Great proximity to the beach and plenty of space to have people over. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. It was an absolute pleasure to call this property home for our senior year!

The home was beautiful. It had everything we needed. The bottle of wine on the counter as a welcoming was very thoughtful. The area was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of instructions provided to make everything seamless and easy to figure out. My wife and I look forward to returning to this specific listing in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carie’s! The house was clean and cute. Our kids loved the game room and hot tub, and the yard was perfect for our dogs. The area is very walkable and lively post-Memorial day. We highly recommend this rental!

Loved the house. Amazing little community with a gorgeous beach just a short walk away. Thoughtfully stocked with so many supplies, which was unexpected. Lots of seating. My partner and I agreed the beds were possibly the most comfortable we’ve slept on, ha! Would definitely stay here again.

Great little house. Very well stocked and very clean. High quality all around! Little beach area is very rocky so not for lounging but a great launch point for small boats. Water in the area is very calm. Neighborhood is very quiet and cute with lots of amenities.

Unique mid-century mod house design with glass walls viewing the deck & garden, comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen, short safe walk to the beach & nearby playground. Responsive hosts. Pristine bathrooms & plush linens. Sauna! Parents of young children may want to block access to the spiral stairs & loft. Older kids will want to hang out in the cool loft! Also perfect for yoga… Great food & brews at nearby Haywire Burger Bar! We plan to return. Thank you Melissa & Patricia

Amanda & David were great Host , super responsive and helpful. The home was the perfect stay for our Memorial Day weekend. Cozy yet spacious. Peaceful neighborhood. Beautiful backyard ! Niantic Boardwalk just a walk away. 20 mins away from all the Mystic activities , Walmart a little over 10 mins away for any last minute needs. We will definitely recommend and stay again!

Had a girls trip here this weekend and our stay was great! it wasn’t the most luxurious of places but it was cozy and gave the vibes of a beachside motel. Incredible location made it worth the price, overall really enjoyed our stay!

The location couldn’t be better—everything we wanted to explore was within a short 10-minute drive, and charming cafes and restaurants were just a quick 3-minute walk away. This trip was special to us, and thanks to Kyle and Jen, it exceeded all our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and will definitely recommend this house to all our friends. We know exactly where we’ll stay next time we’re in Mystic!
