Monthly Rentals in Old Brookville

We had a lovely stay in Oyster Bay! Ricci and Eleanor are great hosts--personable, attentive, and communicative. The bunnies in the yard are also a great highlight :) We would definitely recommend and stay again!

When I saw the listing, I messaged the host to find out if the place was actually in walking distance to the nearby golf club. He replied immediately, confirmed my suspicion, and invited me to book. Everything about my stay, above and beyond its perfect location, was as good or better than expected. It was a lovely peaceful place to sleep, to relax, and to get myself dressed and ready to attend a nearby wedding. If I ever again have the need to stay in the area, I would hope to stay here.

Great location for being nearby LIU. Great backyard for the dog- if you have a large dog like we do. Fence on one side (gate) can easily be gotten under by a dog who wants to leave. House was cute and in a nice area. We expected the basement smell as it rained all week before we arrived. It was not that bad after the first day. The dishwasher had the previous renter’s stuff in it so we had to unload before loading ours as instructed. Also we took garbage out to back gate as instructed but it was quite full already. No swiffer or broom to sweep up the debris tracked in from the muddy yard. Happy with the space. Comforters were so comfy! We didn’t expect to be so close to a firehouse and hear an alarm multiple times a night every night. Not sure if that’s the norm. It was quite loud. Nothing the host could’ve done, just surprised us. Ants are a known issue- sprays available and traps but I had the dog so couldn’t use. Water crickets were gross. Entry is safe. Host very responsive

Rachel’s place. Is in a delightful village within walking distance of every amenity we needed, shops, restaurants, services and most importantly the delightful venue where our relatives were holding their wedding. The weather cooperated and we were able to sit out on the back porch and catch up with family members who flew in from around the country to share the house with us.
