Family-friendly vacation rentals in Oklahoma

We had a wonderful stay! The place was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the host was great—quick and helpful without being overbearing. It was perfect for our dogs, with plenty of space and a calm atmosphere. We really appreciated being left to ourselves while still knowing support was available if we needed anything. Plus, the location is super convenient—just a short drive to town and nearby stores. Would definitely stay again!

This home was unique and has so much personality. I couldn’t stop exploring looking at pictures, antiques, and all the Marilyn Monroe memorabilia!!! Absolutely beautiful. I wish I had more time to spend there.

Nice place, comfortable to accommodate 8. Not enough hot water though which was an ongoing issue. Neighbors are fairly close. Host was very responsive and informative. I would recommend. Worth the price.

We had a great stay. It is a gorgeous house nestled in tall pines. It offered the serenity we were looking for. I also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen perfect for cooking…even while on vacation. The backyard allowed us to brush up on our gaming skills. Definitely recommend a stay at 9 Pines.

Linda's place was exactly what I needed. It's so green, so peaceful - exactly what I needed for a stress free stay. The birds chirped every day, the frogs serenaded me at night, every day I watched a fox and her kits traipse through the grounds like they owned the place. I wandered the 10 acres for hours. Between the vineyard, the pond, the chipping golf course and just her design of the entire property, it was perfect. The loft has kind of a rustic, organic design that I appreciate. Douglas MacArthur, the calico cat, loves attention and will hang out as long as you want. Linda is great, very communicative, helpful, my kind of people. If you're considering Green Shoe, this is your place to relax in the evening, 15 minutes from the foundation. Book this place - I'll be back for sure.

Breathtaking views, beautiful home. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Our family had a wonderful Christmas trip and the hosts were very helpful.

This home was definitely worth the money. I travel with 3 other guys on a regular basis for work. This house had more than enough beds for us, was very spacious, had everything you could think of from extra towels to all kitchen gadgets and utensils. most of all, it was well priced for us to be able to afford it comfortably on our per diem. Thank you Angela and Mark.

Brent and Jennifer were wonderful hosts. They were responsive and friendly. They answered our questions quickly about the home before we stayed. They were easy to coordinate with on check in time. They answered a question quickly toward the beginning of our stay. Brent gave us a thorough tour of the home and even discussed storm options with us and how to stay safe (because OK has its storms from time to time). The home was just as described. The best recommendation I can say is that we intend to stay again as Edmond is a place we frequent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this delightful place in Edmond and Brent and Jennifer as hosts!

We stayed for a NYE getaway and needed more time after the given check-out time. I messaged and received a resounding yes in a few minutes. Best NYE to relax and enjoy Lake Texoma and the surrounding beauty. This is a MUST stay for anyone visiting in the Mead, OK area!

The location was beautiful with absolutely stunning views of the mesas. It was super peaceful and secluded and hearing no sounds of the city, just wind and wildlife was so refreshing. It made it really easy to relax and enjoy time with my family. Cerita was kind, welcoming, and responsive, and she even left us some thoughtful gifts. She and Eddie stopped by and shared some very interesting info about the land and buildings, which we really appreciated. We took some lovely walks and saw all kinds of amazing birds, lots of cows, and even heard wild turkeys in the trees near the house. The turkeys did talk back when I called to then too which was so funny. The prickly pears were blooming and they looked so much more fresh and vibrant than the ones we see in the Sonoran desert. We also really loved using the grill and outdoor tables to really enjoy the fresh air and the scenery. I had such a great time with my family and absolutely loved the house. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

the experience was great for a romantic getaway! loved the jet tub, especially after a lot of walking! we saw several deer and a friendly lizard. Also had a couple of fiddle backs show up but nothing to worry about.

Perfect for my needs! Clean, quiet, all the amenities that I needed. And I appreciate Carol's friendliness and great communication. It's an older house, but kept in very good shape. I felt right at home.

Perfect setup for me and my grandson! We were in town for a disc golf tournament. Deborah’s place is neatly outfitted and looks just like the pictures. The kitchen is beautiful and the furniture is really cool. This place has a great vibe! I would stay there again and recommend it for any travelers who need a stay in or around Tulsa.

Absolutely beautiful home! Mark was there to show us around and was so helpful while showing us things about the home. They were very responsive and accommodating. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Truly a gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at this poolside cabana! Having direct access to the pool and play area was a highlight for our kids (ages 10 and 6) and truly made the trip special for our family. The cabana was the perfect size for our getaway—clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the amenities we needed. The bed was super cozy, and the AC kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful, and felt very safe. We would definitely book this Airbnb again—10/10 recommend!

Sheri was super accommodating and helpful! The pool was essential for a summer visit to Oklahoma. Beds were comfortable, the pool area was huge with tons of cute seating, the extra linens came in handy when my kids had trouble sleeping in the same bed and I had to make up the couch. I usually hate tile floors but the rugs and furniture were very cozy and comfortable. I didn’t feel like anything was an afterthought. Something to be aware of: the shower is suuuuuper small and has limited shelves. This was fine for our purposes but I did have a hard time shaving my legs and keeping stuff from falling. It’s definitely got a pool house vibe, which was just right for me and my kids visiting family nearby.

Friendly conversation and proactive about answering questions before I even had them. Flexible and makes a welcoming home. Enjoyed the whole stay!

Beautiful space with amazing natural lighting throughout! The cozy patio was perfect for relaxing, and we loved the comfortable couch and incredibly soft bed - we slept wonderfully. The pool area is quite pretty with nice brown loungers for sunbathing. Just note that the diving board shown in photos isn't currently available and the hot tub wasn't heated during our stay. Overall a pleasant experience!

Great stay!

This house is beautiful and charming. The pool is fabulous and so is the spacious kitchen! The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We stayed here during our daughter‘s wedding so we needed a true home away from home and this place was perfect. We hope to stay here again! Also there is a great little coffee place right out the back gate on the lake. It’s about a 2 minute walk. Thank you for being a great host and answering all of our questions so quickly.
