Our guest house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest near Oberhof and Rennsteig (about 3 km), directly on the idyllic Lütsche reservoir, an approx. 14-hectare swimming lake. Right behind the house at the edge of the forest, you can relax wonderfully at the private barbecue area, and in summer the lake in front of the front door offers refreshing cooling with excellent water quality. Guest cards are also offered for anglers. The house is the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing tours.

Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. The house is modernly decorated and the garden offers plenty of space to spread out. In the winter months, it is perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof. In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. If you want to use them, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you can use in summer by arrangement.

With a successful combination of rustic ambiance and modern comfort, we offer you the perfect place to relax for restful days and nights. The apartment is located in Georgenthal/OT Herrenhof and was recently converted and renovated. There is a kitchen-diner, living room, bedroom and bathroom.
