Kevin was a wonderful host. Great communicator, very responsive, helpful, and kind. The cottage was pristine and extremely well stocked with amenities and toiletries. We loved our stay here — recommended to anyone with 2-4 people as there’s plenty of room — and would come back. 5/5 stars.

Best getaway for 2 sisters. We each had our own bed in a quiet area away from the street, but still very close to everything. The place was spotless, comfortable and so relaxing. Perfect location for access to the breakfast (across the street), dinner (next door) and Daddy's Homemade Icecream on the other side for dessert. So much to do, we had to get choosy. Neighbors are very welcoming as well. Thank you so much.

Lovely one night stay at this sweet little cottage! Grounds are well-kept, enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch. AC kept it nice and cool. Convenient location close to a great donut shop- Congdon’s and our favorite ice scream spot- Scoop Deck. Chloe is a gracious host and even granted us a late check-out!

A nice private cottage in a quiet community that was super handy for us to stay until we secured our house in New England. Everything is in place for comfortable living. We lived there for a month long and the hosts were always responsible.

We came here to visit the southern part of Maine. Clearly this location is one of the best airbnb we’ve been at. House is lovely and is even better in reality than on the pictures. Everything was super clean and tidy with all you would ever need for your stay. We came here with our 3 kids and they had a lovely time thanks to all the toys, books and board games at disposal. Place is quiet and very nice during fall season so great for a peaceful time away from the city. Didn’t get the chance the practice the canoe by lack of time but it was very tempting. We will be definitely be back!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Jenn and Matt's property. The location is serene, beautiful, and very private (a couple of locals in the nearby homes and mostly empty properties off season). The house is very well equipped, clean, and cosy. It is within easy driving distance to Newburyport, beach and gorgeous Parker River Wildlife National Refuge. The bed is comfortable, wifi fast enough for streaming/working; the kitchen was spotless and well equipped; excellent water pressure in the shower (not an easy fit considering the location). Easy parking for one car. We highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our visit to Appledore Cottage! It was quaint and perfectly relaxing. The screened in porch was the best place to just sit…very quiet and peaceful!

This is a BEAUTIFUL house! Stayed here in May of 2025 with my husband, sister and brother in law. House is very tastefully decorated and very clean. Beds were comfy. Was great to have a kitchen to make meals from home, as we didn’t want the expense of eating out for every meal. We were able to BBQ thanks to the propane grill. Plenty of space for private parking. The host left detailed instructions of restaurant and activity recommendations. We were here the 2 weeks before the Memorail Day holiday and traffic was not too bad. On the weekend before Memorial Day, the town started flooding with tourists and traffic…so something to keep in mind when planning your trip to the area. Ogunquit is a beautiful seaside town with great restaurants, shops and activities. Would definitely stay at this home again. Thank you David & Dana for a great stay.

Andrew's house is one of the best we have stayed in. It is very comfortable, and despite its small size, we never felt cramped because the space is so well configured. I particularly appreciated the kitchen, which had everything we needed and was very well organized. The cottage is a short (10 - 15-minute) walk from Footbridge Beach, our favorite. You can then walk along the beach into town, a nice alternative to the more direct route along Route 1. The cottage gives you easy access to route 1, but it's set well back from the road, so you aren't bothered by traffic noise. I feel that a lot of thought and care went into setting up this little cottage, and as a result, we enjoyed our brief three-day stay very much.

We stayed at this property for 6 weeks with our dog and loved it. The neighborhood is gorgeous, walkable, and has the perfect beach for pup play. Owners are on-site, friendly, and quick to respond. The carriage house was very clean and as beautiful as pictured. We would certainly stay here again.

This was our second stay at River Rose. We absolutely love how quiet and welcoming it is. Jen makes check in a breeze and communicates well. The cottage has everything you need and the small touches are always thoughtful and tastefully done. We can’t wait to come back.

Walter is an excellent host! He was proactive with check in and check out instructions. We had no issues with the Sandpiper. Everything was in great shape and as we expected it to be. We definitely will go back.

It was a pleasure to stay at the cottage! Alexis is a great host who provided a beautiful, clean and well put together place for my family to stay. The cottage is private yet close to a variety of places to visit. I highly recommend staying here! My family and I enjoyed our stay and will be considering another visit when vacationing in Maine again.

Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2025 and absolutely loved it here. Very quiet and peaceful but close to the beaches and restaurants. Such beautiful surroundings. Also we loved the fire pit outside which we liked a lot. Would recommend very highly

We had such an amazing time at the cottage! The space was perfect, had everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and we loved just biking or walking around the island. Beth was easy to reach and very friendly. We would love to stay here again! Peak’s Island is a must

A gem of an Airbnb! The hosts truly thought of everything and this was the perfect place to stay with two young kids; in fact, my son loved the bunkbed and toys so much he refused to go to bed every night! From the tonies box and kids toys, to all the beach and baby gear, there wasn’t one thing they lacked. The place was clean and organized and felt so cozy. I highly highly recommend this place, especially for families! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating as well.

Very clean and cute, small cottage. We had 4 adults was a great weekend for a girls trip. We could have used more bath, kitchen towels. Also a sponge and dish soap were missing. But does have a dishwasher. But over all was a great place to stay and hot tub was great too!

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay. We visited all the surrounding cities we came to Maine for. The beds were so comfy! The towels smelled so fresh. The washer and dryer were so nice to have- so thoughtful that detergent was provided! We appreciated all the cute details the cottage had to offer. My girls loved the ride on the golf cart! 10/10 stay. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely place with us!

Very comfortable for my family of 4. Enjoyed all the seafood within a short drive. The shore is beautiful and near by. The pool and jacuzzi were beautiful.

Great clean air bnb. Accurately as described.. looks good in photos but even better in-person. Bed was comfortable. Would rent their properties again.

The house was clean and well maintained. The view was gorgeous, too bad Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. It was cold and rainy. Used the fire pit nightly and it was nice. Linens were clean, towels were soft and fluffy and smelled freshly laundered. Kitchen was spotless and well stocked with pot/pans and dishes. Having a dishwasher was nice too. Two grocery stores (Hannaford and Market Basket) were close by and plenty of restaurants too. We came with the intention of doing nothing and just changing scenery for the weekend. This place was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend it! The location is great, as it’s close to plenty of restaurants and stores. We were even able to walk to get breakfast and dinner. The space itself was much larger than we expected and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and we even had snacks, waters, and coffee left for us! The highlight for my 2 year old was the pirate ship playground. We also loved having access to picnic tables. We got takeout and enjoyed eating outdoors. We did not use the outside grill but that is a great addition and we would have used if we stayed longer. The host was very helpful and accommodating. They offered early check in and check out and gave very clear instructions on how to get in. I would not hesitate to return in the future!
