Midlum auf Föhr ist die goldenen Mitte der Insel. Idyllisch mit Blick auf die grüne Marsch liegt das Dorf Midlum. Mit seinen wunderschönen Fieisenhäusern und dem weiten Blick strahlt das Dorf Ruhe aus. Von Midlum aus kann man die Insel in alle Himmelsrichtungen erkunden, mit dem Fahrrad gibt es exzellente Verbindungen, zum Strand sind es ca 4 km, zum Museum "Kunst der Westküste" in Alkersum ca 1 km. Das Dorf ist auch Start und Ziel von Deutschlands nördlichstem Marathon.

VACATION FROM ME Tinnum is centrally located in the middle of the island and Sylt can be easily explored from here by the women's bicycle, which is included PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BED LINEN AND TOWELS. THESE ARE NOT INCLUDED AND NOT IN STOCK. You pay your visitor's tax directly to the host and receive a visitor's and beach use card as proof. Every guest is subject to visitor's tax. The visitor's tax is paid by the host directly to the municipality of Sylt.

Cozy under thatch

You will be staying in the middle of the beautiful island of Föhr in the village of Midlum. The loft-like guest area upstairs in my dreamlike thatched roof house welcomes you. You have your own kitchen and bathroom at your disposal. You will sleep in a 140 x 200 bed. A kitchen sofa as a bed (80 x 200 m) for a 3rd guest is available. You can make yourself comfortable on the couch in front of the TV. Tourist tax is payable on site with me in cash separately.

The apartment is one of 2 vacation apartments (BACKBORD with balcony + STEUERBORD with garden) in our house in Wyk. Completely renovated and newly furnished at the end of 2025, the STEUERBORD apartment offers everything you could want for a relaxing vacation. Garden, bedroom with 2 x 1.8 m box spring beds, fully equipped kitchen and a living room for relaxing and feeling good. The city center, the harbor and the nearest beach are all about 900 meters away.

Maybe a walk to the beach promenade or the cinema in the evening? It is also possible to explore the island by bus. The nearest bus stop is just 200 meters from your accommodation.

The courtyard is the ideal starting point for excursions to the surrounding islands and Halligen, the Charlottenhof and the Nolde Museum. It is only 8 km to the Danish border. Welcome to our terp in Waygaard on Bottschlotter See. The Old Canoe Hous is a lovingly furnished, open 130 square meter apartment in our thatched-roof barn with a view of the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marsh. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can fish, canoe, cycle around the accommodation and watch the flocks of birds that use the lake, which is partly a nature reserve, as a migration and nesting site.

The apartment is freshly renovated and lovingly and individually furnished.

Hello! We offer our cozy half of a thatched house. The cottage has 37 sqm downstairs, 28 sqm upstairs, a total of about 65 sqm. Upstairs, of course, is slanted. It is located in Boldixum on Föhr. This is a district of Wyk. Since it is still privately used by us, it does not have one thing: the efficient, smooth charm of a vacation home. Where the wild roses grow, that's where we live.
