Only 3 sites are available for tent camping which adds to the peace and quiet of our campground. Enjoy the sounds of horses stabled close by. This Carriage House is in the heart of downtown Hot Springs & across the street from Moccasin Hot Springs Spa. Our yellow victorian home sits high on a hill which creates a feeling of privacy. The home was built in 1889 before the road, electricity or plumbing. The Carriage House, where guests stay, was used by Charles Hargans Jr , a Saturday Post artist. We made it the cozy place it is today. We offer a clean & comfortable stay in our historic sandstone town!

This is one of two cabins located on our working quarter ranch nestled in the splendor of the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota. We are 4 miles south of Hot Springs. Nearby is Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore, Ft. Robinson, The Mammoth Site and many other state, national and local parks, recreational areas, and historic sites. There is no wifi in the cabin. We also have boarding for horses for the traveling rider.
