This is a detached house in a good location, 5 minutes walk from the Bikan Historical Quarter and 15 minutes walk from Kurashiki Station. This is an inn where you can rent out the entire building. The kitchen, toilet, bathroom, etc. have been completely renovated, and we have new equipment. There is a soba restaurant next door, and there are restaurants such as a bakery and pizzeria within walking distance, as well as a convenience store and drug store, making it a very convenient location.

Private rental, accessible by Shinkansen or car

While staying in Kurashiki, you can enjoy sightseeing and experience Japanese life. If you come by car, parking is available nearby. K-cars (compact cars) can park next to the guesthouse. If you arrive by train, including the Shinkansen, we offer car pick-up service. It's convenient to rent a K-car at Shin-Kurashiki Station. The host will support guests to comfortably enjoy sightseeing and daily life. Prior to the trip, we can provide sightseeing and living information via messages.

Japanese Potter's Guesthouse - Wasyugama Kiln Stay

Welcome to Wasyugama, a traditional Bizen pottery kiln guesthouse in the peaceful hills near Kurashiki, Okayama. Stay beside an active pottery workshop and experience the quiet charm of rural Japan. Most guests stay 2–3 nights, but longer stays are warmly welcomed. The house, hand-built with natural wood by my father and me, is a private rental with kitchen, bath, and beds for up to 5 guests.
