Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Oconto County

Our family stayed here as an impromptu emergency need. We are very grateful to be given the opportunity and loved the location in the home. We’ll definitely come back if the opportunity presents itself.

Outstanding RBO Host! I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Nate’s property. From the moment I booked, he was incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect from clear check-in instructions to thoughtful touches throughout the home. The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. It’s clear that Nate takes great pride in creating a comfortable and memorable experience for his guests. We highly recommend this place. All went very smooth throughout the reservation, check-in and check-out process. The house is set-up to enjoy the easy access lake view. Lots of comfortable outdoor furniture, too. The kitchen is full stocked with all the pots, pan, etc. you could need…including a crockpot. Coffee pot tip…don’t pull more than 8 cups of water in the pot or 2 scoops (1/2 cup) grounds - or the water stops flowing through or you end up with a lot of grounds in the pot. We would be very happy to return here!

The house was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. There was plenty of space for all of us and the beds were comfortable. The house was very clean and we will for sure use this place again for our weekend getaways.

The property was clean, organized, and welcoming. The host was friendly and very accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Lisa was quickly responsive to any questions I had, accommodated an early check in for us, and was super friendly/helpful with anything we needed. The cabin is so spacious and comfortable. My friend group was in town for a recovery community event that was taking place at Kosir’s campground down the road. We wanted a place to be able to detach from the 500+ other attendees to wind down at night, comfortably. This was PERFECT. All 9 of us slept comfortably in the beds, we made one meal in the kitchen, and one over the plate over the fire. Everything we needed to make spaghetti and to grill steak was provided by Lisa’s hospitality. Lots of extra towels and blankets - no need to pack your own! Having 2 bathrooms with 9 people was really helpful as well. We loved our quick weekend away from the hustle of the day to day stressors of life.

If I could give it 100 stars I would. Host was responsive to all my questions leading up to our stay. He provided helpful recommendations for a place to fish and swim. He left a crockpot on the counter for us and dropped off grill supplies when requested. The house is gorgeous and slept our group of 10 very nicely. Everything was clean and organized. The washer and dryer are large and efficient. The host left a variety of snacks, coffee, and water in the fridge. The kids had a blast exploring the spacious backyard and roasting marshmallows over the fire. We had an absolutely wonderful time!

This is our second time staying at the BLC but first time in the Hunter. Very quiet, well kept, had everything we needed. Mike was very responsive and great to deal with again!

Really enjoyed the accommodations. The location was close to Green Bay n the price was very reasonable. Loved the quiet, peacefulness river view. Everything was neat n tidy n the antique decor was a huge hit. Cindy was very flexible n helpful. Was a great weekend.

This place is a cozy slice of Heaven . The cabin was the perfect size for 2. Had all the amenities listed and even more homey touches once we peeked around. We didn’t have kids with us but took full advantage of the board games. A round or 3 of Guess Who during dinner was fun :) Went in February but still enjoyed sitting on the porch with a morning coffee and listening to the pileated woodpeckers and owls do their thing . The one and ONLY negative is that the Lake was not conducive to ice fishing. By the time we figured that out, we joked that the neighboring homes were probably watching us with binoculars through their windows getting a good laugh at our expense, :). We found Thunder lake 4 mins away and did end up catching a few. Incredible weekend but now I have the post vacation blues… Living in the city, one gets accustomed to the sounds of sirens and car alarms. What an incredible reset it was to be submerged in the sounds of nature. HIGHLY recommend!

The Cozy Bear Cabin was perfect for our family’s recent getaway! It is fully stocked with anything you might need- kitchen basics, extra pillows/linens, and games for the kiddos. They thought of everything! It is very cozy with lots of comfy sleeping options- our kids loved the loft. We enjoyed the patio and fire pit out back. The cabin is also close to the convenience store and eating places in Crooked Lake. The Cozy Bear is a great place to stay if you’re headed to the north woods!

Stayed for a friends wedding. Fully enjoyed my stay. Tammy was quick to answer questions and problem solve when things arose. Would definitely recommend this peaceful cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin! Lots of country and cute small town vibes all around. Hot tub was in great condition and Jacqi was an excellent host.

Jayden’s cottage is just like the photos - clean, quaint and in a great area. A wonderful place to stay while enjoying the Northwoods. She was very responsive and helpful with any questions along the way. Thank you!

Wonderful cabin for a getaway in northern Wisconsin, we really enjoyed our team. Especially the fireplace!

The home on the river was cozy and had great views. It was very clean. Appliances were new and nice too!
