We carefully renovated a traditional house built 40 years ago, keeping the old beams and windows, and created a space where you can relax with your family and friends.Outside the window is a traditional Japanese landscape of rice fields and mountains.You can enjoy the scenery that changes with the seasons from the living room and sunroom. The accommodation can accommodate up to 6 guests.We also provide a baby chair, baby bath, baby futon, toys, etc. so that families with small children can have a comfortable stay. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.
