Staying at Lauren’s Airbnb was one of the best travel experiences I’ve had in recent memory. From the moment I booked, I could tell this was going to be a different level of hospitality. Lauren was proactive, clear, and friendly in all communication—she reached out ahead of time with a warm welcome and offered incredibly helpful information about the home, the neighborhood, and even curated recommendations for restaurants, cafés, and local experiences. Her attention to detail and genuine thoughtfulness set the tone for the entire stay. The property itself exceeded all expectations. It was immaculately clean, beautifully styled, and had a calming, modern aesthetic that immediately made me feel relaxed and at ease. The furniture was not only tasteful but comfortable, and it was clear that every piece had been selected with care. Kathryn's house was exactly what we needed for a rest and recovery holiday. We stayed 10 days and were perfectly happy there for the entire time. Peaceful, stunning landscape. The drive into Arrowtown and Queenstown were quick and easy with the most breathtaking scenery that it was always a pleasure to drive and then return to the peace of Kathryn's airbnb. Loved meeting Cookie the dog and the goats and chickens at the end of the driveway. We loved the style of the house both architecturally and interior design. Loved having an open fire and sitting in the window seat. Thanks Kathryn.

absolutely stunning place. Worth every penny spent. it has everything that you ask for, great rooms, great views, boat loads of amenities, huge collection of games, DVDs, books. the room upstairs provides you opportunity for Star gazing while lying on bed. perfect for family. my kid loved this home the most with so many things to do. absolutely perfect in all sense

Fantastic place all around. it was spacious, clean and looked exactly like the photos. Location was great, almost felt like it was in the middle of nowhere with the views and distance between neighbours. The sauna was a hit - instructions were easy to follow and a great way to relax. Jay was very responsive whenever I had a question and amenities were as listed. It was overall a fantastic experience for our group!

We had a wonderful stay, Made was beyond helpful and responsive. He is a wonderful host, he was responsive helped with all our questions and gave us rides everywhere we needed. He was very patient with us too because we didn’t know what we wanted to do. the villa is very private and clean. They gave us all the amenities we needed. The only thing is that there wasn’t many restaurants around and it’s not too close to the main town. It’s a 15 minute drive but besides that I highly recommend staying here. Made is a wonderful person and he made our stay special.

Love the ambience, incredible and convenient location with stunning views. The place was super cozy and had a very homey vibe. Toilet floors are heated which is something that we did not know we needed haha - mind blowing. This airbnb blew our expectations out of the water.

We had a lovely time staying in the loft. It is very clean, something important to us and we felt very comfortable. We loved the view, the comfortable bed, the easy kitchen, the location close to the beach and walks. It has been one of the nicest places we have stayed in for convenience and comfort. The car was off the street too.

Fantastic stay away. Warm, cosy, rained the whole weekend but didn’t matter as we were able to spend the weekend adventuring local towns and watching the rain come over the mountains through the ceiling high glass windows. Fireplace was perfect, we were able to have our boarder collie with us (who also enjoyed sleeping by the indoor fireplace) Wayne and Jodie and made a beautiful handmade breakfast basket for us for the first morning with fresh baked bread, delicious passion fruit butter and more. The perfect weekend to de-stress.

What a fantastic farm oasis Ruth has here. My partner and I escaped for the weekend out of our inner city apartment and loved every bit of it. Cottage vibes, warm fireplace, surreal rolling hill views. Very accommodating weekend, thanks again Ruth.

Superb and attentive hosts. Organised everything for us from arrival at the airport to departure. Villa was beautiful and kept clean. Really enjoyable stay. Will be back again.

We stayed for a full week and used the house as a base to explore Nelson and surrounds, Havelock (where we took a boat into the Sounds and Blenheim / wineries. After a day exploring, and some days when we didn’t leave the house, we lapped up the views and quiet time - card games, reading, cooking, drinking great NZ wine. The sauna and wood fired hot tub was amazing especially when the skies were clear. The views are spectacular! The drive up the hill is as described (terrifying in the wild wind and rain we had!). Make sure you book a 4WD or an all wheel drive as NZ weather is famously unpredictable. Great hosts who thought of all the small touches and were super responsive.

It was such an incredible trip! Isla was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The place itself is amazing—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommended!

We have just come home from a fabulous 2 nights in Wainui at Caro's house. We were 7 Ladies. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were super comfy and warm. The weather was horrendous for our weekend, but that didn't matter at all. The views over the Akaroa Heads with the weather coming in was spectacular. Caro had lit the fire for us for our arrival which was very much appreciated. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a dining table in the kitchen area as well as the lounge room. The hydrangea's in the garden are beautiful. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back. We would love to arrange a summer vacation so we can sit out on the verandah in the sun. Highly recommend Caro's house. Thank you Caro. Your communication was excellent and we really appreciated the late check out.

Wonderful stay, just a peaceful beautiful location, lovely gardens, surroundings were magical. Lisa was a delight, and I enjoyed every moment. The spa is perfect. Didn’t need for anything, plenty of firewood and pinecones! Just lovely. Thank you Lisa it was a pleasure to meet you!
