Nestled on the back of Springbrook National Park, this area offers plenty of relaxing, walking and nature activities. Walking distance to a local eatery/coffee shop/general store and only 12 minutes to Robina Town Centre on the Gold Coast and only about 20 minutes to the glorious beaches. We know you will have a great time if you are looking for charm, privacy, and great views amongst nature! Spend the afternoon exploring nature and the walking trails and then cosy up by the fireplace at night. It's possible to hike to the top of Bally Mountain. With multiple trails, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the area. This unique two-storey, two-bedroom house is equipped with every possible amenity to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. In addition to the large bedrooms that are all tastefully decorated and fitted with comfortable Queen sized beds, the house includes a bathroom with claw-foot tub/shower, a living room with a piano and fireplace, and an open kitchen – all laid out on two floors. The interior is tastefully furnished, harmoniously marrying the modern with traditional antique and rustic elements, all bathed in an abundance of natural light. The fully-equipped modern kitchen comes with refrigerator, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and all the utensils and crockery you need to cook your favorite dishes. Bathroom with slate floors and claw-foot bathtub/shower also includes a brand new washer/dryer. The cabin offers an amazingly large deck overlooking the rainforest and the fresh-water creek, and you can barbeque on the deck. A coffee shop and general store is within strolling distance, with Robina town centre 12 minutes away. No public transport, so a car is required. If you have a car we also have an off street parking space for our guests so there is no need to worry about parking :-) We are a professional couple who understand and respect your privacy however if you need our assistance we are only a phone call away! The studio is located in the Wooloowin area (6km north of the Brissy CBD), in a very friendly, walkable neighborhood. There are some amazing eateries nearby and excellent coffee shops all around. Three coffee shops & train station are only steps away. Hop on the train for a 10-minute ride to the Airport or city. We are only 100 meters from the train station and 10 min to either the domestic or international airport or the city! We are also only 15min train ride direct to Southbank with its famous man made beach.....why not pack your swimmers and go for a dip, it's free!! It's also a great place for a coffee or some lunch!! We offer great amenities for our guests to use during their stay (like perfume, hair mask, hair dryer, hair styling products & much more!!) Our kitchen is also fully equipped with salt, pepper, cooking oil etc, so there is no need to grab those if you want to prepare meals during your stay :-)

Well-Preserved Quintessential 1960s Bungalow Near the CBD

Step back in time to a hilltop house with views across the city through picture windows. Exposed brick and the extensive use of natural wood maintain a mid-century atmosphere, enhanced by period furnishings and gleaming softwood floors throughout. The House Manual provides information about Jack's, as we call our house. We do not host guests with accompanying pets and smoking on any part of the house and property is not acceptable. If these rules are not to your liking then please do not book. Jack's Place is an original 1960's architect designed house. A master bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (en-suite except it is the only one!). The second bedroom features jarrah flooring and exposed brick wall. The living area features a unique view across the City especially at night. Functional kitchen and laundry, air conditioning and heating. The rental terms are for the whole house but if a couple book then it is expected only one bedroom is used. On booking it is best to clarify if both bedrooms are required. If not we do not make up the second bed. Jack's Place is a free standing brick residence with its own car space. There is a walled courtyard and front lawn area/garden (yet to be fully developed ). Cate and I live behind Jack's Place and both properties share a driveway. Naturally the drive must be kept clear at all time. More than happy to be contacted with any questions relating to Ballarat in general, food, wine and things to do. This 1962 house is in Golden Point, an old area in the City of Ballarat, about 125 kilometers west of Melbourne. These days the architecture of the area varies from 1860s dwellings, California bungalows, and modern high-density residences. Ballarat's main street is Sturt St. It is about a ten minute walk to the town centre and less to major supermarkets. Parking in town is charged via meter all week. On the edge of the central business district parking is free. Parking around the restaurant area of Armstrong St is difficult. My advice is to walk to dinner and Uber home. Local buses are confusing. Only a few minutes away is The Grapes Hotel, friendly and reliable. Ballarat weather can be variable. I have no control over the weather! We are perched about 375 metres above sea level, cold in Winter and hot in Summer. Summer nights tend to cool down. To keep the house warm and you comfortable, draw the blinds and turn on the heating. There are electric panel heater available in the house. Be very aware that they are not suitable for use when young children are part of the guest party. To cool the house, draw the blinds, close all windows and unnecessary doors and set the cooling for 10C below the outside temperature.

The mews creates a private community inside one of Christchurch's thriving hotspots; the Victoria Street Precinct complete with a number of our best restaurants. The apartment is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay We are happy to provide recomendations to make your stay more enjoyable. We understand the pleasure of finding a favourite restaurant, cafe or local sight. Please feel free to ask. The building is located in one of Christchurch's thriving hotspots, the Victoria Street Precinct, complete with various top-rated restaurants. Hagley and Victoria Parks, The Art Gallery, Museum, Town Hall and Avon River are within walking distance. The choices are many and varied depending on your desire. Certainly walking is pleasant and convenient within the central city. Driving in Christchurch is easy and parking is readily available. Perhaps hire an electric bike dropped off to your door. Taxis are plentiful and the public bus from the airport to the city passes 1 minute away. Christchurch airport is a very easy 20 minute drive from the apartment Please note that the bedrooms and main bathroom is upstairs. There is no sleeping accomodation downstairs. Netflix is available for your entertainment should you choose to stay inand of course there is free wifi. If you require accommodation for a larger group, please look at our other Luxury Clocktower Lane apartments. You may wish to consider combining apartments for your group.

We have an array of things to do with local cafes, fishing club, kayaking, paddle boarding, golf and tennis clubs, and great walks all on our doorstep. Want to do a day trip to the Wairarapa region we can help. The apartment is totally self contained and has its own private access. It also enjoys its own deck, luxury bathroom and kitchen. A king sized bed is the icing on the cake. We can provide meals as required. We can help you with any travel planning throughout New Zealand - and arrange your itinerary. We can take you on day trips to our local wine region if desired and drop off and pick you up from the central city of tequired. Nothing is too much trouble. If you would like a picnic packed we can do that too. Set in a modest seaside village outside of Wellington, the property is a short walk or drive away from a number of cafes, pubs, and acclaimed fish and chips spots. The beach is just steps away. We are a 25 minute train ride to central Wellington or the kapiti coast. We have kayaks, bikes, fishing gear, paddle board available.
