Freihof - Chez Annemarie

The historic Freihof from 1782 is an outstanding example of the rural building culture of the 18th century. The farmhouse, which is under national protection, was extensively renovated in 2022 in accordance with historical preservation standards. Great importance was attached to the preservation of the historical building fabric, while at the same time a contemporary use was made possible. Today, the building houses three independent apartments, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern living comfort.

A cosy hideaway in the countryside - perfect for relaxing. Whether alone, as a couple or with family, everyone will find peace and quiet here. Music lovers will find a piano or a guitar. The stylish accommodation with 5.5 rooms offers a retreat for everyone. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Emmental, there are marvellous hiking trails and refreshing streams for swimming. There is also a petting zoo, horse riding and even camel rides nearby - an idyllic experience for young and old.

Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

The guest house can accommodate a maximum of 4 people with a sofa bed. Business travelers and families feel comfortable with us. In summer, the seating area with a fire bowl invites you to linger.

Der Dachstock des Bauernhauses wurde mit viel Charme neu ausgebaut und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Nach einer Fahrradtour oder einer Wanderung durch das angrenzende Emmental/Napfgebiet, entspannen sie sich anschliessend in unserer kleinen „Wellness-Oase“ mit Badewanne und Regendusche. Für Kinder gibt es Schaukelpferd, Murmelbahn, Minitrampolin und im Garten Schaukel & Spielhaus. Auf unserem lebendigen Bauernhof gibt es 30 Kühe und Ihre Kälber, 2 Katzen und Hühner.

Genieße ein stilvolles Erlebnis in dieser zentral gelegenen Unterkunft. Unsere Princess Suite ist seit Juli 2024 nun buchbar. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine komplett eingerichtete Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher sowie Nespressomaschine. Der Wohn/Küchenbereich ist sehr grosszügig angelegt und von dort aus gelangen Sie direkt auf die Sonnenterrasse. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein 1.60 Boxspringbett. Unique opportunity to stay in a rustic barn by the pond. In rural surroundings, switch off from everyday life, relax and enjoy the tranquility. The barn is equipped with electricity (light, fridge, oven, hotplates, kettle, Wi-Fi). Private spring water is available directly outside the attic. A hot plate is available, including basic equipment for cooking. Separate bathroom with toilet/shower is available in the main house on the ground floor (20 meters).

The location between the southern foot of the Jura and the Längwald forest tempts you to take relaxing walks on well-marked hiking trails. Hikes along the Jura heights are also recommended. In clear weather, they offer the hiker a unique distant view of the central plateau and the Alps. Birthplace and residence of the famous writer and honorary citizen Gerhard Meier.

Our property is located on a quiet farm in the countryside with various animals. Feeding is prohibited. Thank you. The caravan is cozy and charmingly furnished, here you can feel comfortable and relax in nature. The nearest town (Langenthal) can be reached by car in about 2-3 minutes. The bus station and a restaurant are in the immediate vicinity. Recommended Cafe Bäckerei Felber in Lotzwil. By car in 5 minutes

Huus_Wensing, centrally located in the Mittelland/Oberaargau, at the foot of the Jura, overlooking the Alps. The cities of Bern, Basel, Lucerne, Zurich and the Alps can be reached within an hour, the baroque town of Solothurn is 15 minutes away. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are available. The living room has a Swedish stove. The garden has a barbecue and seating area.
