Für uns (2 Erw., 2 Kinder U10) war es die ideale Unterkunft für ein langes Wochenende in/um Mainz. Der Bahnhof liegt fußläufig, durch die gute Bahntaktung braucht man wirklich kein Auto für Unternehmungen. Der Kontakt war sehr nett und absolut unkompliziert, auch bei einer unvorhergesehenen Änderung bei der Anreise. In der Wohnung gab es nicht eine Sache, die wir vermisst haben.

Tobias’ charming Airbnb was perfect for us! This newly renovated, sparkling clean apartment is in the heart of the suburb of Mainz-Gonsenheim. We enjoyed the excellent public transportation and the free covered parking spot. Breite Straße offers a fantastic selection of bakeries, a butcher shop, various retail stores, pharmacies, grocery stores and restaurants - all within walking distance. We especially loved the “Bürgerhof” (on the ground floor of the same building) with its friendly and welcoming atmosphere and its delicious choices of traditional German fare! At night, the surroundings were peaceful and quiet and we appreciated the comfortable bed. Tobias is an incredibly attentive and responsive host. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

The apartment was very good and equipped with everything necessary for daily living. I stayed there for two weeks and had a great experience. It's conveniently located—just a 5-minute walk to the nearest public transport stop, 7 minutes to the nearest shop, and about 20 minutes to the main campus. The neighborhood felt safe, and the view from the window overlooked a green area, which was a nice touch. The apartment was clean and free of any unpleasant odors. Sometimes the neighbors could be a bit noisy, but that's to be expected in an apartment building. The host was very helpful and responsive. Overall, I would recommend it.

Helke war eine unglaublich freundliche Gastgeberin, die unseren Aufenthalt in Essenheim sehr gemütlich und heimelig gemacht hat. Wir spürten, dass Heike große Freude daran hat, Gäste zu beherbergen und sie auch kennenzulernen und auf ihre Bedürfnisse einzugehen. Wir haben uns gefühlt als wären wir bei einer guten Freundin von uns. Wirklich toll! Wir hoffen die Schildkröten sind gesund und munter geschlüpft :D

Gaby was fantastic, she helped me with my clothes & my electric car. She spoke me in French and was very friendly. I was able to walk & enjoy the place with my girl & my dog. We are very happy and for sure we will come back. For the details, creme, soap, tooth brush were available with coffee, thea & wasser. Wonderful place and wonderful host.
