Enjoy a cozy holiday in the countryside - in UNESCO's biosphere area, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and in the middle of nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish/Japanese couple, three small dogs, a cat, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We have renovated the entire farm to the best of our abilities and with a high degree of recycled materials. We love to travel and make sure the house is comfortable and cozy. The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. Here you can relax with the family and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, including the nearby forest, where wild boars live. The house, built in 1776, exudes the old days in the countryside. At the same time, here are the most sought-after modern amenities (WiFi, heat pump, dishwasher and charging box for the electric car). The apartment for rent is 37 m2 and is located on the 1st floor of the Old Technical School in downtown Nysted - 200 m from the harbor. Nysted has a nice beach with a swimming pier – there is also the possibility of a sauna visit. The apartment contains 1 bedroom with a double bed, dining table and chairs. There is TV and internet. The kitchen has a refrigerator, oven and stove. Toilet/bathroom with shower. Hairdryer The apartment is close to Nysted Church, and if you stand on your toes, there is a sea view.

We have spent a long time renovating our little wooden house with upcycled building materials, decorated it with heirlooms and flea finds, and are now ready to have guests visit. The house is located in our orchard, close to nature, forests, good beaches, medieval villages, Fuglsang Art Museum and far from noise - with the exception of our quails and free-range silkie chickens, which may well go crazy once in a while. The house is 24 sqm in size, and also has a loft with enough beds for four people.

The two bedrooms are located on the upper floor, overlooking the beautiful garden.
