Looking for peace & quiet to relax? We now offer our lovely island for rent in fine lake Möckeln. Here you will get in either of the two small boats with a short rowing trip of 5 minutes. The cottage currently offers 3 single beds but there is also the possibility of a sofa bed and cot + crib etc. 230v electricity, municipal sewage (shower + water toilet) with lake water in the tap. In the kitchen there is a stove with oven, microwave and fridge. Sheets and towels are available against laundry fee 100sek/set (cash). Welcome!

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Very clean and cozy house next to the lake. There is a sauna (50€/day) and a rowing boat was available to explore the lake. Margareta and Kalle were lovely hosts and always helpful. Margareta even took us to Örebro on our last day.

We had a great time at Daniel’s cabin. He is super friendly and helpful. The view is beautiful and serene. We did the elk tour with Daniel and even saw one! Thanks for the great experience!

Nice little house. Lake and beach around the corner. Pleasant to be able to enjoy a place where you should not look twice before landing. We had the beach for most of our stay. There are also lots of activities within an hour's drive.

The place is great, especially if you're looking for a quiet place. There happened to be a rally during our stay. 🏁🇸🇪 The route was easily accessible by the boat available there.🛶 Another highlight is the sauna. With several saunas, you can feel really comfortable there. 🔥 All in all a nice stay!

Quiet and lovely place near lake

Cozy cottage with fireplace. Our daily breakfasts on the veranda overlooking the lake were wonderful. We also used the boat and grill. The lake is beautiful, rare birds red-throated loons, swim on it. There are many beautiful nature reserves around. Ilona and Kalle are very kind people. Charlie, small and cute dog is very cheerful and friendly. We recommend this place to everyone who wants to relax.
