Seaside cottage

The seaside cottage is by the sea. The view is really nice as it looks at the sea all the way to the horizon. You can go for nice walks or swimming. Perhaps in the winter on a walk on the ice. Perfect spot if you have your fishing gear with you, or a canoe or SUP-board. The cottage works well for family, couples or just traveling alone. The place is also fine with small pets that do not shed. A sauna and reasonable amount of wood free of charge to warm up the sauna and smoker +fireplace outside.

Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large slope plot on the shore of clean Lake Storträsk. The yard is a peaceful and scenic place for a vacation day where neither are the neighbors in sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake scenery or the life of the forest. The sauna is right by the beach, by boat or sub-board, you can go rowing or fishing. You can always swim in the winter. The yard has a gas grill and charcoal grill, as well as a campfire site. Sheets and towels are included.

Nice apartment without a kitchen in a quiet neighbourhood. Free parking place next to the front door. Private bathroom. All services and Espoo railwaystation 2 km, superstore via a forest walking path 300 m. Small bedroom with 140 cm wide bed. A hobby room is available for eating, relaxing and working, 90 cm bed is there. No kitchen but own fridge, microwave, basic dishes, coffee maker & hot water kettle. Tv and Wi-Fi. Total area to use is appr. 30 m2. 12 km from Nuuksio Nature Park.

Accommodate yourself in the charmingly renovated upper floor of a barn built in the early 1900s. Inside you will find a small kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom for 2–3 people. The location of the accommodation is peaceful, and the national park offers fantastic outdoor opportunities. The nearest hiking trail is approximately 500 m away. We live on the same property but respect the privacy of our guests. We offer a parking spot but public transportation is also conveniently accessible.

Our pet friendly guest apartment is located close to the beautiful Nuuksio National Park. Distance is 30 about km from from Helsinki center. The apartment consists of a bedroom , shower room and kitchen.. Nuuksio National Park is an area with over 100 lakes and ponds and a preferred get away for stressed city people and tourists. The house is in-midst a beautiful large garden, on the boarder of a small river and easy to reach by to public transportation.

My place used to be an attic of a cow house, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.

Nice small cabin aside of the main house. Equipped with enough blankets and heaters, still quite cold if to not use sauna / fireplace if you are out for a day. There is a guide for everything you might need, and as a bonus you can meet a great friendly host’s dog (though still ask if it is okay to pet it) :)

The sauna features a wooden bench layout, with warm light illuminating the curved seating area. An iron stove is positioned in one corner, creating a serene atmosphere inside the wooden structure.

We stayed at Jaakko’s cottage for our wedding day, and it was truly the perfect choice. After our ceremony, we headed there with our family and friends to continue the celebration—and everything was just magical. Jaakko was incredibly friendly and accommodating from the start. He was flexible with the number of guests we brought and allowed our loved ones to spend time comfortably at the cottage without any stress or strict time limits. His welcoming attitude made us feel completely at home, which meant so much to us on such a special day. The cottage itself was beautiful and cozy, surrounded by peaceful nature—a wonderful setting for creating unforgettable memories. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared. It gave us the perfect blend of celebration and relaxation. We can’t thank Jaakko enough for helping make our wedding day so smooth and memorable.
