Approximately 50 meters away is a pizzeria with an ice cream machine. Good connection to various bike and hiking trails. In the Rhön there are many opportunities for recreational activities, such as hiking, wildlife park, climbing park, summer toboggan run and much more. The baroque city of Fulda is known for its cathedral, the beautiful old town and offers opportunities for shopping & culinary highlights.

Our apartment on the lake pond is characterized by the walking distance to Hünfeld city center with good infrastructure. This includes numerous shopping opportunities. The immediate proximity to the Hünfelder leisure activities such as the Haselsee, the outdoor swimming pool, the Bürgerpark, the tennis facilities as well as the indoor swimming pool, etc. make your stay a relaxation. The historic baroque town of Fulda, as well as the Hessian Kegelspiel and the Hochrhön are worth exploring at 10-30 km.

The kitchen is equipped with basics. There is also a sofa bed in the apartment. What needs to be said: Steinau is located on a railway line. The apartment is equipped with soundproof windows. With the windows closed, the noise pollution is very low!

Look forward to a relaxing break from everyday life in the countryside. We have chickens and goats on our small farm. Located in the middle of the Vorderröhn, near the Hessian Kegelspiel, the place offers the possibility of many excursions, e.g. to the Wasserkuppe, the Rotes and Schwarzes Moor, as well as a city trip to Fulda. For bike trips, we recommend the Hessian Kegelspiel cycle path. Staying with us in a motorhome is also possible.
