So accommodating!Beautiful hotel, convenient location

We had a nice stay. Staff was polite and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast in the morning. We missed (with a 1 year old) some storage space in the room and a vitrage against the view (now only darkening) but this did not detract from the experience. The location is quiet and remote, the center is easy to reach on foot. The car can not get to the b&b, the last piece has to be on foot when you are dropped off. Highly recommended: At the corner of the street is a coffee shop that we enjoyed every morning!

++ very friendly and helpful stuff ++ beautiful area in the middle of rice terraces + very good breakfast + daily room cleaning + laundry service + very good Communication with the owner +/- food a little bit more expensive (but lots of organic self grown fruits and vetegables so we understand that) - maybe not the best location for toddlers and babys (but we knew that before) - The houses are made of wood and are a bit outdated. Due to the rain, everything is a bit damp and smells a bit musty in some places - hard to get there, especially with kids, but we also knew that in advance

Great Value for money! The room got cleaned daily, communication was too notch and in house laundry service was fast and easy! We will definitely stay here again when coming back to Ubud!

This place was just about as good as you can ask for on a trip to Ubud. It had modern elements fused with some rustic elements. Comfortable bed, hot&cold water, internet, cable tv...and nice pools and public sitting areas for all your relaxing needs. For an honest review you should be well aware that you are living with the "jungle" creatures most anywhere you go in Bali. So be prepared for the geckos, marching ants, and the occasional spider. The staff is more than willing and experienced to help if any of these things becomes a dramatic issue. The location is not "in the center of things/Ubud", but honestly its not supposed to be. There are various transport options which are reasonably priced to get you too and from town which is typically a 5-7 minute drive away. The Area is being developed and does need some improvement on road infrastructure but dont let that detract you from choosing this property. The staff do a wonderful job of seeing to your every need and request. The breakfast is good and the restaurant menu options were being updated while we were there which should only add to its improvement. Overall if you want to spend time in Ubud and surrounding areas and you are looking for a relaxing place to begin and end your days, the Monday Villa (or any of the other villas on the property) will easily be a great option.

A great place to stay. We slept one night in the bird's nest and one night in a regular room. An adventure that you absolutely must experience. The complex is incredibly beautifully laid out, the staff are super nice and the pick-up service on the first day worked without any problems. You are a little outside of the city and the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but you can easily walk to all the sights. Our tip: definitely try the breakfast and book a massage. We can only recommend the place:)

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect! Nice and quiet but still very central. There were so many nice restaurants near us and supermarkets. You only have to walk maybe 2 minutes from the main road with your bags so that wasn’t an issue at all. 10/10 will recommend to our friends.

Our first Bali stay and it didn’t disappoint! Everyone was so friendly, they organised our last minute airport transfers for us and Joni our driver was just amazing! Thank you for such an amazing stay!🤍

The view was amazing, great pool and super friendly staff. just a bit confusing is the location description as crystall beach, which it is not. the street is very bumpy on the last few hundred Meter and a challenge inexperienced scooter drivers but we made it. Thanks for a great stay

Absolute perfection. Such a gorgeous, secluded location close to town but away from the bustle and very generous staff. They helped accommodate rides and were so kind and friendly. All of the animals around the farm are adorable and it was very easy to scooter to and from the joglo. Would definitely stay here again next time in Ubud!

The staff were absolutely lovely and kind. Such a great little spot to unwind in, nestled in amongst rice patties and rainforest. Very quiet too. Great communication, comfortable bed and very affordable. Would stay again if I visited the area in the future.

We enjoyed our time staying at Kadek's place during our trip to Ubud. He is friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The place was comfortable in a good location. Getting around was easy. The house was in a beautiful traditional setting which was nice. Breakfast was included which was nice to have while enjoying a view of the greenery next to the outdoor area. I would recommend staying here.

The place of Dy‘s family is a quiet and not that touristic. They showed us a part of their traditional culture and were really kind to us. You can actually reach everything just walking. We really recommend this place.

Putu was adorable! Take care she was able to respond to our requests! The place was very clean and beautiful, the place is private and there is not too many people. It's also within walking distance of the sea! I highly recommend space!

An absolute insider tip on Nusa Penida! If you're looking for peace, nature and breathtaking views, this is the place to be. Located high up, a phenomenal view opens up over the island – especially at sunrise just magical. The lovingly designed complex is surrounded by lush green vegetation and beautifully planted. A gentle wind blows through the hills and amplifies the feeling of complete deceleration. The little cottages are charming and cozy – just right for those who appreciate simplicity with style and heart. The value is unbeatable. Every moment here feels special, almost like a fairytale. I will definitely be back next time I'm on Nusa Penida!

After staying in a busier part of central Ubud, we were lucky to stay at Kadek's lovely place. We felt right at home and enjoyed sitting in the front porch with a peaceful garden view. We were not feeling well so we asked him to cook rice porridge for a fee. He was happy to oblige and refused to let us pay. He was available whenever we needed help. Kadek is a super host.

I had a wonderful stay at this eco-friendly cottage in Sidemen. The views were absolutely stunning, overlooking rice fields and farms, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere close to nature. The hospitality was outstanding from the start. Wira messaged us before check-in to ensure everything was in place and shared helpful local contacts. Adi organized a lovely tour of the area, including the Sidemen Rice Terraces, traditional sarong weaving, Telaga Tawang, and Gembleng Waterfall. The tour was smooth, well-priced, and could include a stop in Sidemen town for dinner. Juni and Ari were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we were comfortable. Their warmth really made us feel at home. It also felt great knowing our stay supported a local family and community. This isn’t just accommodation. It’s a heartfelt experience that connects you with the soul of Sidemen. Highly recommended for an authentic and meaningful Bali escape.

Maple House was the perfect location for my solo time in Ubud. The staff are so friendly and sweet, always had a smile to share. The kitchen was a nice touch to cook a few meals on my own, and enjoy in my room or by the pool. I always woke up looking forward to the daily breakfast. My only con with this stay was that a fresh towel was not provided during my 5 nights there, I believe it was expected that I include it with the paid laundry service if I were to use it. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Ubud!
