1811 Cottage at Sunflower Farm

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!

The Cabin is located on 50+ acres surrounded by Georgia pines & two big lakes, fishing is catch & release. Plenty of space and walking trails. Every 4th Saturday is The Mad Pig Jam. We encourage musicians and people who love music to enjoy an evening of live music entertainment. Traveling with kids? There is a basketball hoop, trampoline, tree house and plenty of space to play! A beautiful 1/2 a mile walk to Rocky Comfort Creek where you can fish or relax. Lots of animals around the farm. A kids paradise! Just come and enjoy a relaxing day in the country. A 15 min. drive to town and restaurants. There is no tv or WiFi in the cottage so be prepared to relax and reconnect with how life used to be!
