(The caravan was replaced in 2022, so reviews before 2023 apply to an older caravan with fewer amenities and lower comfort) It is 7 miles to Svolvær, 6 miles to Reine, about 2 miles to the surf beach Unstad, and 8km to the fishing village Ballstad. There is good opportunity to be able to participate in the famous Lofoten fishing/winter fishing, and also fishing trips in the summer.

The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. Det finnes veldig fine dusjer og bastu på campingområdet som er gratis.
