Cozy room, water view, pvt bath for solo travelers

Lynn was a wonderful host. This was my first private room in a host’s home and Lynn made me feel very welcomed and at home straight away. She did an excellent job at balancing hosting and providing space. She was happy to give recommendations for places to see, eat, enjoy live music & park to avoid crowds and fees. She was even thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs in case Mother Nature was too loud for my likings. The room boasted a great view of the sound and was private enough from the rest of the living spaces!

A home from home! We had a beautiful weekend stay at Donna’s. Communication was great, location first rate and space fantastic. Easily one of the better places to stay along the Conn. coast and Michael’s photographs are a highlight!
A cozy corner features a pink armchair adorned with pillows and a textured throw blanket. Tall windows with sheer curtains allow natural light to fill the space, showcasing a view of the building across the street. A green plant adds a touch of nature.

Heather was an amazing host! The home looked exactly as she described it and the neighborhood was absolutely gorgeous. We were there for a quiet weekend getaway and it was perfect. It's a beautiful town with tons of restaurants. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Heather's place.

Tiny House Pet-Friendly. 30 miles N. of NYC!

Robert’s tiny home was a great affordable pet-friendly option for a stopover in the NYC area. I appreciated the large fenced yard in which the dogs could run off leash. The tiny home was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and I appreciated that it had shower and toilet facilities in the house.

Small private room in my home for one person only

TraceyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Perfect for a one night pit stop on my multi-state drive. I don't know why, but I was expecting a sleepy suburb type location, but this is a urban-ish location on a fairly busy steet. No issues with that, just noting it as I had a car full of gear. But the neighborhood is safe and the house/room/bath were clean and fresh. Evelin was very responsive to questions and the price was right - would stay again.

Newly built two bedroom cottage on the beach

GavinRating, 5 stars9 months ago
So, just to preface my review. I’ve been using Airbnb since 2015 and have visited a total of 42 properties during that time, both in the US and abroad. I’m mostly traveling with my family for the kid’s travel sports events. So, I’ve seen a variety of different homes in a number of different settings over the years, and have had both great and mediocre Airbnb experiences. This property is easily the nicest home we’ve stayed at, in one of the most attractive coastal enclaves in CT. The home appears to have been built recently and has very high quality and tasteful finishes. The view is awesome and honestly the pictures don’t do it justice. The quaint downtown is a short car or bike rise away with a couple restaurants and a high end food market. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again if we’re back in town.
