As outstanding as the home is, the hosts are also rock stars! Some of the most friendly, helpful and upbeat people you'll meet anywhere. They treated us like we were their favorite cousins coming for a visit. They went over and above any expectation to make this "first in a lifetime" experience the absolute best. This was a complete homerun Air BnB visit - and I'm forever appreciative of hosts Dannie and Lance.

We came to this location for my mother's birthday to visit her hometown of Hudson. The barn is extremely quaint and cozy and in the most beautiful setting! There are plenty of windows from which you can really enjoy the scenery, not to mention the trails you can walk along the river and it is easy to walk into the charming town of Peninsula. Rich was very friendly and accommodating and provided us with recommendations for food and local activities. One note on this location is that the bathroom is on the bottom floor of the barn, while the bedroom is at the top floor which could be difficult for older adults and small children. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful spot with a friendly community that we will never forget!

Great stay. We enjoyed the firepit and appreciated the kindling and firewood provided. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. A good skillet would be good to add as all we cooked stuck but otherwise we will stay again.

Bill was an amazing host! He was so friendly and he was very helpful with local recommendations! Our room was spacious and very clean with all the accommodations of home! The hot tub was a perfect way to end our night after dining in town! We'll look forward to returning!
