Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Northampton County

Thank you , Leigh for a wonderful stay at your lake house! Our boys (13 + 11) had the best time down at your dock. Plenty for them to do - paddle boards, kayaks, fishing off the dock. The inside game room space was also a great added bonus for them. We brought our dog, Wally and so appreciate when we can include him on our trips - so thank you! Would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Moon Smoke. Marc was an excellent host and very responsive to all of our questions. The house was perfect - clean, cozy, plenty of room for us and my mother - plus dogs. Beautiful view and water access and large, flat yard. Well equipped kitchen and sheets and towels provided. The front entry has a ramp rather than steps - This was a pleasant surprise - easier unloading and access our older dog. Easy access to nearby island by kayak or boat. We are so happy we found this house!

Absolutely gorgeous location! We had fun in the kayaks provided and rented a boat we tied up to the dock.

The house was great and larger than it seemed in pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed and all drawers were labeled which was very helpful. Beds and baths were clean and nicely decorated. The highlight for us was using the fire pit while watching the sun set over the beautiful lake. Bonus: were there over Christmas and were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful, lighted tree in the home.

Sarah helped us out in a situation that was out of anyones control. We ended up not having power for close to the first 24 hours and Sarah did everything she could, calling to see when the power would come back on and went as far as finding us anther place to say if the power did not come back on. Sarah was absolutely AMAZING! Definitely the fastest response from a host out of any place I have stayed and like I said went above and beyond to help!

Correy was a pleasure to book and rent from. The boat made the weekend extra special, and was an amazing add on with the property. It was easy to drive and fit the number of people it stated. The trip was a 10 out of 10 and this property is defiantly worth booking.

Tracy and her wonderful husband are the perfect hosts! They worked with me on several occasions when I was in need. They are so friendly and make you feel like you are apart of the family. I hope to stay in touch with them. This is the best place for fun in the sun aaannnnndddd peaceful relaxation. Whatever you choose for the day.

We loved this house! It had everything we needed and more for our Memorial Day lake trip. Leah was so kind and responsive to all our questions. We are so grateful for her! We absolutely loved where the house is located on the lake. The boat dock was big and perfect for our group of 11 people. The rope swing was a hit! We loved this house so much we want to buy it! Haha. The kitchen was really well stocked. Better than any other rental property I have stayed at. Thank you for everything! We’ll definitely be back.

My family and I were absolutely blown away with this beautiful inviting cabin. There really was no stone left unturned. We enjoyed our stay and all the amenities that were offered including the games for the teenagers being able to sit at the fire pit and kick back roasting s’more’s, Morning view sitting on the front porch and the nook with the rocking chairs was perfect. We felt like we were at home away from home. Anyone would enjoy staying here and be very pleased with the hospitality provided.

The surroundings were peaceful and quiet. We felt as if we had the world to ourselves. We used the lodge as a "Basecamp" for 3 days of fishing on the Roanoke River. There are 2 NC Wildlife boat ramps just minutes away. We met our host at check-in and she gave us a wonderful tour and brief history of the lodge. She made us feel very welcome and shared local information including restaurants and food stores. We enjoyed a quiet walk each morning surrounded by the sound of turkeys, geese, and cardinals. If you want to get away from the noise, this is the place! We're already making plans to return next year.

We had great time with family and it was a perfect location. The area was very quiet!

Great spot to stay if you’re in the area! We were traveling out of town for work and this cabin was perfect for us. Next time we’re in town we will definitely be looking to stay here again.
