The street is a little noisy but they provided sound machines that helped drown it out .20 min drive to Salem and 30-45min drive to Boston depending on traffic . The Gilbert was exactly what we wanted and needed. We were attending a wedding at The Beauport and we were perfectly placed. A quick 4-5 minute walk. Jamie and Joe were wonderful hosts. They prepare you with thoroughly instructions on where to park, check in instructions, and any other bits of helpful information you might need. Communication was great! The Gilbert is placed in a central location making exploring on foot an easy option. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rebook if we come to Gloucester again.

We’ve always wanted to visit Salem and Deborah’s place was the perfect home-base. It’s unique in the best of ways and has wonderful New England character, charm, and aesthetic, while also being modern and clean. It’s a 10 minute walk to Max’s house from Hocus Pocus, which we wanted to see, and a great waterfront beach park. The beds are super comfy, and the linens are luxurious. The place was spotless and comfortable and we would gladly return for a longer stay.

Johanna was responded to questions and was proactive to leave lights on for us, knowing our flight would get us in late. There were some breakfast items waiting for us too! Maggie is a gem! Not only was her lodging clean, spacious, and in a perfect location for touring Salem, Maggie added personal touches that really made the location stand out. We loved our stay! Christina’s condo was comfortable, peaceful and perfectly located. We were walkable to the entire downtown area, museums, the concert venue, walking paths, shopping and restaurants. But the best thing was sitting outside on our private deck overlooking the harbor, with Motif #1 just across the inlet. We almost didn’t want to leave the condo…so gorgeous! And Christina is lovely, making sure we were okay, had everything we needed, so responsive. After the condo coffeemaker stopped working, she kindly offered a gift card to a nearby coffee shop, and before night fell, a new coffeemaker was delivered to the condo! Such a thoughtful host… we will be back!
