A beautiful place to stay at. We totally enjoyed our time here. Everyting is well organjsed, excellent and kind staff members. I would come back here again.

It's an old, tiny, cosy, friendly hostel for backpacker, with and lovely swimmpool! thanks for welcome me for few days.

The pictures on the listing don't really show how nice this unit actually is. It exceeded our expectations and we were really happy with our stay. The pool and laundry were excellent amenities that were very useful as well.

Awesome hostel, felt right at home. All travellers there are really friendly & chill. Really great design of the entire place which clearly years of hard work & thought have gone into.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dandaloo Gardens. Only a 5 minute walk from bus station making it convenient to get to. Spacious cabin with all facilities needed for our stay including a TV, sofa and a comfortable bed. Great location to explore the island and only a 10 minute walk from the Rock Wallabies. Highly recommend!

A 2 for 1 review. Me: Ocean was too noisy, had trouble sleeping. Closes door. My partner: Ocean noise was great, best sleep I have had in ages. Opens door again. Both, view was beautiful, watch ferries go back and forth in distance. The doof doof stopped at midnight and was mostly masked by Ocean sounds. The odd backpacker decided to have a middle of the night phone convo outside our room on speaker phone but moved on quick when asked. Cabin was modest, private, odd things like switches behind doors, but for price, considering it is a backpackers, and location it was a fantastic experience. Staff very friendly too.

The staff were welcoming and friendly and the property was well maintained. It’s worth noting that we had to carry our bags up several flights of stairs so people who would struggle with that may need to request a downstairs room.

This place! It is so apparent that the owners love what they do, as there is so much care put into every detail. Rooms are cleaned so well between each guest, rules are respectfully given without being obnoxious, and they are followed by guests, which means the kitchen, dishes, bathrooms, common areas are kept clean, roommates are generally quiet and respectful, and the peaceful, tropical setting is a perfect place to just chill. Highly recommend staying here!

It was very clean, spacious and pleasant. It was a 20-minute walk to the lagoon, and there was a grocery store within a 15-minute walk, so it was good to buy food. The shower was unexpectedly open, so it was embarrassing. The shower was difficult to become a sea of water every time I took a shower, but it was nice that there was a bathtub, so I could use the bath balm or do it. The soundproofing is also not bad, but the soundproofing in the bathroom and outside is not at all, so you can hear the sound of screaming outside all night.

The unit is clean, neat, tidy and spacious. Access to the second floor was by lift with a secure underground car park and secure access to the grounds. A lovely Thai restaurant is in the grounds and a general store and alcohol available.

We had a great time. We are very happy about the quality of room and really enjoyed the view. The location is convenient. There is stunning sunrise view from the complex at the end and you can see rock wallabies as well.

Loved my stay at Floriana’s. Extremely relaxing and peaceful experience. Room was spacious and classy. Will book here again if I’m ever in Cairns. Special shoutout to the staff who were so helpful. Thanks guys.

It would be hard to find a better place to stay! Clean, quiet, fabulous outlook over the ocean, convenient location just a few minutes walk from the ferry, supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again 💖
